A simple thought so many miss. A place never loked in by most yet always in the way of the many.
The "birthing sign" are symbolism set along the road to help us understand a certain situation in our life. These aspects tell us about who we are, why we probably look at things in a certain way and react to situations or people using particular responses.
I'm do not claim to be a pagan, a wiccan, or a witch, simply a journeymen apprentice practitioner of what I believe, I don't have a wisdom, but I desire to learn, I cannot tell you what to believe, but I can tell you one thing: Whatever you do, whatever you believe, don't ever lose your believe in yourself.

Never be afraid of losing your home, because your home is where your heart and soul is. Within you.
The start of the ripples out from you first factors is: time, day, date, year, given name. Many cultures have ways of showing one what they are ‘aligned with. With that known is it moon phase, zodiac, horoscope, birth symbols or cultural thoughts. As well as date meanings within different calendar systems.
If one first looks up all that can of these items that is the first circle of you the closest and the foundation of the next. Using 3-7 or more places which are different in words but meanings are same to ensure that is correct and not just some thought up idea. For the internet has become a land of copy and paste but not always looking at if correct or not.
From these items found one can find the attributes or associations to them. These are the secondary of self and will be factors still within but not as influenced upon.

So if one takes Sept 22 1965 you first find that it fell upon a Wednesday. The common things right off is that it is Virgo, year of the snake, and depending upon when the date falls is the fall solstice, last day of summer or first day of fall.
If one goes just bit further. It can be found that Wednesday is called for Odin Mercury and Hermes. The Snake is of the wood element year. And Virgo has several factors. But that is just the time of the start.
For on that day the moon was waning crescent moon. The Celtic astrology sign is willow. The Aztec is Wind or Eecatl. Egyptian brings Mout

The zodiacal designations have varied from place to place and era to era. It is difficult to determine all of their origins, but the following seems reasonable based on inhabitants of the northern hemisphere
Aries....is represented as the ram/Lamb because March/April is the time of year when lambs are born.
Taurus... is represented by the Bull due to April/may is the time for tilling and ploughing.
Gemini....is the Twins, so called for Castor and Pollux, the twin stars in the constellation, as well as because May/June is the time of the increase, or "doubling" of the Sun, when it reaches its greatest strength
After the Sun reaches its strength at the Summer Solstice, and begins to diminish in Cancer, ( June/July), the stars are called the Crab, who backslides.
Leo....is called the Lion because, during the heat of July/August, the lions in Egypt would come out of the hot desert.
Virgo... the Great mother Earth, is the gleaning virgin, who holds a sheath of wheat symbolizing August/Sptember, the time of harvest.
Libra... September/October in the balance, reflecting the autumnal equinox, when days and nights are even in length.
Scorpio...is the scorpion because in the desert areas, the fierce storms of October/November were called scorpions, and because this time of year is the "backbiter of the sun as it begins to wane.
Sagittarius... is the vindictive archer, who side wounds and weakens the Sun during its approach in November/December towards the winter solstice.
In Capricorn, the weakened sun encounters the "filthy, ill-omened He-goat," who drags the solar hero down in December/January.
Aquarius is the water-bearer, because January/February is the time of winter snow/rains.
Finally, Pisces is represented by the fishes, because February/March is the time when the thinning ice is broken and fattened fish are plucked out.

Magickal Hours of the DayAs analogy of how the hours of the day influence magick can be drawn to a day in the life of a flower.With the first rays of sunshine, the flower begins to open. The, it fully opens, and stays open until closing again at dusk. The flower quietly sleeps, yet it still continue to grow and develop all through the night, until the dawn comes once again.
Magickal timing by the hour of the day follows the flower pattern. Although some of us are morning people, while others are night owls, you will discover that there are certain times during the day and night that you do your most successful magick. Pay attention to you own natural rhythms, and honor them, choosing the times when you have the most energy for magick making. The following is correspondences for the daily timing of potions and spells.
Dawn
A time of renewal, rebirth, new ideas dawning, new beginnings, and consecration. Over the centuries, people have collected the dew on the grass and plants at dawn to use as a magick love potion.
Morning
This is a good time for setting patterns in play for preparing potions, and casting spells for attaining goals. The day’s light is growing strong and your magick grows accordingly. Mid-morning is a good time to harvest flowers.
Noon
The solar energy is most powerful at high noon, and there is a tremendous amount of energy for magick making. Noon is also a good time to gather flowers for magickal uses.
Afternoon
This is a time of harvesting magickal goals. The heat of the afternoon sun is a good time for harvesting herbs for potions.
Dusk
A powerful junction point between solar and lunar energies, dusk is the time when the portals to all worlds are thrown open and you can freely enter them. This is a very potent time for any magick making because the portals are open and communication with Divine energies is particularly strong.
Dark of Night
The lunar and stellar energies are strongest at night. Throughout history, witches have always cast their spells under the cloak of night. This is also a good time to map out magickal potions and spells.
Midnight
Traditionally called “the witching hour,” midnight is a good time to let go of old habits or negative relationships and banish negativity from your life. This is also the time for updating your life patterns and practicing dream magick.
The Hour Before Dawn
This is the time of the Otherworld of fairies and when many predators hunt. It is a good time to stay indoors.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.
We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.
Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"
A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?
After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...
Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
