Protect-Your-Assets Spell
It doesn’t help to make money if you can’t hold on to it. Protect your assets by first picking or purchasing a sprig of juniper. Let it dry in a warm place, then, with red yarn, hang it upside down in a window of your home. You may make as many of these protective amulets as you please. You can even wear one around your neck, if you so choose.

Talking to Ancestors Ritual
This is a wonderful time to connect to, and ask for messages from, our ancestors. Begin your work by finding a few pictures of an ancestor you want to contact. Place these pictures on your altar, and light some ceremonial candles. Then make some dream tea (two parts valerian, two parts hops, one part mugwort, and one part licorice). You can find loose herbs at any health food store. After brewing a good cup, drink it while visualizing the qualities and other traits of your ancestors. Then say:
Healing tea, let me sleep. Bring me messages from the deep.
Ask for messages from these relatives, and then lie down to sleep. In the morning write down your dreams. You will likely have had a visitor.

Nightmare Spell
To protect against recurring nightmares, take three nine-centimeter lengths of blue embroidery thread. Plait them together, and with each weave, say:
“Triple-headed hag, protect me from phantasmagorial harm. Mares scare elsewhere!”
Now place a twig of rosemary and seven dried chamomile flowers in a pouch (lemongrass can replace either of these). Use your plaited thread to tie the pouch at the top, and place it under the pillow. A deep, untroubled sleep should be ensured for the person who lays their head down on this bed. Refresh the spell once a month by replacing the ingredients.

A Witches Bottle
Gather Rosemary, needles and pins and red wine. Fill a small jar with these first three ingredients saying the following as you work:
"Pins, needles, rosemary and wine. In this Witch's Bottle of mine; Guard against harm and enmity; This is my will, So mote it be!"
Visualize these herbs doing just that. When the jar is full, pour in red wine. Then cap or cork the jar and drip wax from a black or red candle around the seal.
Bury the jar at the farthest corner of your property or place it in an inconspicuous spot in the house.
The Witch's bottle destroys negativity and evil; The pins and needles impale evil, the wine drowns it and the rosemary sends it far from your property.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.
Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.
As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.
We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.
Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.
Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"
A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?
After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...
Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
