How to Make Cinnamon and Clove Liquid Hand Soap

Cinnamon and clove hand soap is an all-natural liquid soap that is ideal for washing hands before meals or preparing food, as the castile soap, cinnamon and clove essential oils combine to form an antibacterial soap that will kill 99.9% of all germs. Things You'll Need:
1 cup distilled water
Medium saucepan
1 cup liquid castile soap
Glass stirrer or wooden spoon
6 drops cinnamon essential oil
6 drops clove essential oil

1. Put the cup of distilled water in a saucepan on the stove. Bring to the boil over high heat.

2. Add the cup of liquid castile soap to the saucepan and heat for four to five minutes over low heat. Stir with a glass stirrer or wooden spoon to mix.

3. Remove the saucepan from the stove. Let the mixture cool for 10 to 12 minutes before adding the cinnamon essential oil and clove essential oil.

4. Let the mixture cool at room temperature until fully cooled, usually about 30 minutes. Transfer the soap to a glass bottle with a pump. Shake the bottle gently to combine the ingredients before each subsequent use, as the oils have a tendency to sink to the bottom of the container.

**If the cinnamon and clove hand soap seems too drying for your skin after a few uses, add one tablespoon of cold pressed olive oil to the mixture. This should help to keep the soap from drying out your skin.
