Game of Goose

Setup:

Each player places a pawn on the start space (before space 1). Each rolls one die with high roll moving first. Play then proceeds clockwise around the table.

Play:

When it is your turn, roll both dice and move the total number of spaces shown. Note if you throw a nine from the starting space, you will move to space 26 or 53, not space 9. Many spaces on the board have special effects when you land on them:
5, 9, 14, 18, 23, 27, 32, 36, 41, 45, 50, 54, 59 - Goose - When you land on a goose, move the same number of spaces again. For example, if you rolled a 6 and then ended on a goose space, move 6 more spaces.
6 - Bridge - Take a short cut. Go to space 12.
19 - Inn - Lose two turns (one to get drunk, one to sober up).
26 - Dice showing a 3 and 6 - If your first throw is a 3 and a 6, go here instead of space 9.
31 - Well - Fall in a well. Must stay here until another player lands here. Then you are free and that player must wait for the next person.
42 - Maze - Get lost in a maze. Go to space 30.
52 - Prison - Get put in prison. Must stay here until another player lands here. Then you are free and that player must now wait for the next person.
53 - Dice showing a 4 and 5 - If your first throw is a 4 and a 5, go here instead of space 9.
58 - Skull - You've died, go back to the starting space.

With the exception of the Well and the Prison, only one player can occupy any one space. If you land on a space that already has another player on it, that player is moved back to the space you came from.

The winner is the first person to land exactly on space 63. If you overshoot 63, take the excess and move backwards from space 63. For example, if you are on space 60 and roll a 9 you would move to space 57 (three spaces to 63, then six spaces back to 57).
