Books - Handfasting Rites & Rituals, The Solitary Druid, The 21 Lessons of Merlyn, The Lost Books of Merlyn (these i use just as Refreshment), my clan has tomes of knowledge that are privy only to us & 3/4 of what we all know comes from them.
Are you currently living what may be considered an alternative lifestyle? For example, are you a traveling artist, practicing a non-mainstream spirituality, or part of a BDFSM lifestyle?
I am a Heriditary Druid. Practicing Alternative Medicine (Herbal Healing) for 21+ yrs now.
What does the older knowledge of legend, myth, lore, story, tale, wisdoms mean to you?
It is of The Olde Ways & reminds me i'm home. i will forever remember & live in the Olde Ways as i atleast look like i fit in to the "Modern World".
Do you belong to any organizations; re-enactment based (i.e. households, tribes, clans), spiritual based (i.e. covens, orders, or other pagan groups) or other? If so which ones and where?
the only TRUE Clan i belong to is My Clan by Heritage. it has been around longer than i can remember, the name it goes by now is The Clan of the Enlightened Mind (all of us are Heriditary Druid, & all have some form of Psychic/Telepathic ability. i myself am Telepathic but it works off of my Emathy, so that instead of reading thought, i read emotions & feelings to be able to understand what the person is goin through & therefor be able to better help them. My Titles are Hunter & Weapon Master (Hunter: we who are hunters track down & call for transport to our Clan Hold those that perform The Dark Arts & use them to harm others, Weapon Master: I train those of my clan & other clans on the use of a wide range of weapons from a dagger to a claymore. & no i will not prove my knowledge to anyone not of my clan, sorry). I got tired of lies & the negativity that comes from it & the fact that it ALWAYS comes back to bite ye in the rear in the end, so from age 13 i have refused to lie. I am blunt & i "tell it like it is", for i DO NOT see the point in doing something that will only bring more negativity & pain into a world that already has way too much of both.
If not of the older life styles, how tolerant are you ?
I am of The Olde Ways, but still i DO NOT judge. The way i act towards others is: I react to the actions of others. if a person acts wrongly to me then i will either mirror their attitude or simply ignore them, if a person acts in a good way towards me then i will do the same.
Have you ever been to a Renaissance Faire or Medieval Fest? If so, which did you prefer? If not, which would you rather attend? Would you rather be a participant or spectator? Please relate to us your experience!
Yes, been to many. I personally prefer the Blacksmith, the chess games, & The Jousting Matches.
Do you have any artistry, crafting, and trade… what do you create, Please share your talents with us.
Fine arts (Van Gogh mostly), Graphic Arts (Luis Royo & similar artists). As for those that inspire my creations (my Clan Blacksmith: his teachings have made it possible for me to have created a Blade design of my own, even though i only made 2- one for my personal collection & one to be duplicated for my clan's use ONLY). i also do Poetry (but there is no specific persons i take after, normally when inspiration flows... i write).
What is the best way to contact you if your talents are skills are desired?
I DO NOT use my skills for any except those of My Clan & those of the Other Clans. I will speak of them & will share my knowledge of my works & will share my poetry, but WILL NOT do more than this. this was an oath i made to My High Elder & i'll NEVER break it for anyone, not for my own father & mother, EVER.
Please answer all questions honestly and openly so staff and members can get to know you. Approval of your application will be based upon your answers. Any thing else you would like to tell people?
I have given the Basics of who i am, other than this... it is up to the individual people to make the effort to get to know more. keep this saying in mind that was taught to me by My Elder: "The only stupid question is the one NOT asked, but the answer is only important if the RIGHT question is asked" - so be precise in your question of what exactly ye want to know.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
