BDFSM raw data and informational for use

A collection of words of the BDFSM lifestyle for those to use to help understand the of it. And perhaps stop the social stereotypical thoughts of the common what is of it.

Now for a little lessen of old. BDFSM a natural progression of the life and mind set. B is for Bondage - what most start with playfully experimenting. D is for the Discipline to do or not to do. Having the control to do as told even if the one to enter into service does not want to do it. Most people today separate out the F. Through the first two, you come up with a preference, want, or need. This is commonly known as a FETISH. S & M- Sadism & Masochism two sides of the coin one who wants to give pain and one who wants to receive pain. Through the first three, they find how to achieve what they need within this last part of the lifestyle as well. It seems that many of the younger generations are not taught or do not know this idealism of the lifestyle. Most only know the modern social ideas or want the romance fantasy or only sexual versions of the BDFSM lifestyle.

Dirty Show after Party. Feb 12th/13 2011

RSVP and Details here.

Detroit’s original Goddess of Temptation and Torture is planning a special after party for the Dirty Show on February 12th. This more intimate venue will feature a shower the size of a small room for water-sports, a blackout room where no naughtiness can be seen by no one, and a large Jacuzzi for those who want to clean up after they get really nasty! In an environment that evokes eroticism, Castratta will be offering her guests a viewing of ventures that are even too vile for the Dirty Show. This will not be an event for the tame or timid, for Lady Pain is renowned for her spectacles of shock and awe.

Thank you All and hope to see you at the Dirty Show!

We are mixing up the day that we are holding the M/s chat this month. We are meeting this month on Sunday afternoon this time. We have had a lot of feedback of people who are interested in attending the chat but can't due to work or other obligations so we wanted to mix it up just a bit.

*What is a munch?
A munch is a low-pressure social gathering for people involved in or interested in BD SM. A munch is usually held in a restaurant.

Who can attend?:
If you are minimum 18 years old, please join us and be among kindred spirits. We welcome all at this Munch. For those who are new or curious, this is a perfect way to get introduced to the lifestyle in a friendly environment.

*Who is a typical person who attends these munches?
Regular everyday males and females, who happen to share an interest in the Dominant and Submissive Lifestyle. Our ratio of males to females is usually 50-50.

*How to dress to The Munch?
We would appreciate that you dress with the knowledge that this is a vanilla restaurant. We do not want to bring attention to ourselves nor the establishment from other patrons. That means dress as casual as possible. Most people come directly from work, so they are already casually dressed or in their work clothes.

What happens after the Munch is finished?
Most will usually attend the DSF meeting that take place on Fridays at Paddles, which is only 3 blocks away from the Moonstruck Dinner.

This week's bondage demo at Paddles with Gentleman Joker can be found at:

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
