The Michigan weather seems to be giving us a break this week, come out and meet us at your friendly local munch!
Join us at Brann's at 4157 Division Ave S. Grand Rapids 49548 at 6:30 until 10:30 for your friendly monthly munch.
Dress code is enforced. Please dress for a family establishment, or at least cover yourself when going through the main part of the restaurant.
When entering, ask the hostess for the Munch group or the GGRM, or go straight through the main room to the private rooms to the right.
If it's your first munch and you'd like to meet someone before hand, either contact myself or aharlotskismet or Saraphina_Elaine and we are more than happy to meet you before the munch starts.
Hope to see you there!

Sore about Valentine's Day? You will be! Join hosts Mistress Reina and Reina's slave (of NYC TNG) as they kick this holiday square in the nuts!
The party starts at 10PM this Saturday, February 19th at Paddles!
Good Morning,
We are having a singles meet up and discussion on Saturday at DetroitSpace. I was looking to those who are seeking for suggestions on how to make this fun and informative.
One suggestion was speed dating. Another was to bring a few copies of the bdsm checklist to discuss and use.
So please any suggestions?
thank you,
tala
The next NYC Kinky Living (NYCKL) group "meet & greet" is on Sunday, March 6! Please rsvp here.
We'll be meeting at the nice bar HIGHLANDS in the Village from 5:30PM-8PM (cash bar). They do have a nice menu also available for anyone wishing to grab a bite to eat, as well as happy hour specials.
Should you be attending the MAsT meeting earlier in the afternoon, we'll be just a block away from there so please stop by afterwards!
Just ask for the NYCKL ("nickel") group if you don't see us.
This Sunday February 13th @ 3pm we are getting together for out monthly round-table M/s chat. We will be there rain or shine.... or more like sleet or snow this time of year. Why not come out and join us for some coffee or tea and spend a couple hours with some like minded friends? We will be discussing topics related directly to TPE relationships and welcome all regardless of current relationship status. All we ask is that you have a desire to share your experiences and or questions you may have... we all learn from each other.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.
Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.
As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.
We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.
Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.
Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"
A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?
After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...
Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
