Once upon a time there was a hydra and a dragon and a rose. The hydra loved the rose
and wanted it for his own. The dragon too loved the rose but being honorable stepped
away and let the hydra take the rose for his own. The hydra wrapped the rose
in a silver chain and golden ring and kept her thus.
Many years passed and though he thought the hydra loved the rose and treated it well. He found that what he percieved was not true. The hydra did not treat the rose well. So he many times silently stole the rose away from the hydra so that he might have its beauty to himself for a while and try to repair the damage the hydra had done to the rose. One day the rose disappeared from both the hydra and the dragon. Not to be
found by either. It seems that she had tangled her thorns into a Direwolf that loved her so
that he promised her his protection for only her love and beauty at his side in return.
The Direwolf wrapped his rose in a silver ring and put her away in a sunny mountainside
until this day....
