What Is It:

 Spirit Catus Quartz is an unusual quartz that has many very small crystals growing on a central stone. Each tiny crystal radiates energy with all of these little crystals working in harmony to radiate a very strong vibration. This makes a single piece a quite powerful stone. Spirit Quartz comes in a variety of colors... and may resemble the color of many other quartz varieties. Some retailers sell it as Cactus Quartz Crystal because of the way it looks. Cactus quartz, a uniquely spiritual variety of quartz also known as Spirit Quartz. Cactus quartz has a fascinating crystal formation with larger crystals covered in hundreds of smaller crystals that sparkle and shine. Cactus quartz is traditionally used to focus meditation and gain insight into complex issues.

Why Would You Use It:

 Spirit Quartz carries the vibration of universal love. It may assist you to let go of issues you have been holding onto... and forgive both yourself and the other person. These crystals radiate a very high vibration. They may open the third eye chakra, the crown chakra and the higher crown chakra or soul star chakra.. and may align and purify the entire chakra system. Spirit Quartz are powerful stones to heighten metaphysical abilities. They have the ability to align the lower self with the higher spiritual self... and manifest into your life those spiritual attributes. These are stones that will assist you with your ascension process... and they may activate the Lightbody. Where Is It From:

It is found only in South Africa... where a particular tribe is responsible for mining the stone. The women of the tribe find and clean the stone..

The interesting thing is that the qualities of the stone do in fact reflect the name. Many people think the Amethyst Spirit Quartz is a more desirable variety... possibly because of the lovely lilac color of the stone. It is the most common... but it is not really Amethyst of course... but because it has the coloring of Amethyst and many of its attributes it is named for it. Although they are not as common you may obtain this stone in other colors. There are varieties that resemble in color Citrine Crystals, Smokey Quartz crystals ... as well as clear, pink and greenish stones. Some of these stones have defined crystals with others having very a very fine crystalline structure known as Druzy quartz. WHERE IS IT LOCATED:

The Third Eye Chakra is located above the eyebrows in the forehead. This chakra is associated with the pineal gland and is the area of the body where our visionary abilities emerge. Sometimes called the Ajna chakra in Eastern traditions, or the Brow Chakra... as it is located at the brow in the center of the forehead. Using the specific stones for this chakra can aid the development of psychic abilities... such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychic knowing and intuition.
