So many benefits of Nettle Tea

Nettle is beneficial as a spring tonic and rejuvenator. It has a supportive effect on the immune system, the circulation, the urinary tract, nervous system, respiratory tract, digestive system and the endocrine system. Nettle tea fights coughs and tuberculosis. It is also sometimes used to loosen congestion and open the bronchial airways in people with asthma or allergies. It counters arthritis, rheumatism, tendonitis and other disorders of the muscles and joints.

Nettle tea can also be of great help to those who suffer from diabetes, because it leads to the decrease of blood sugar and implicitly, of the glycemic level. Stinging nettle tea is an effective natural diuretic and diuretics are often used to lower blood pressure.

Nettle is known for its ability to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), a condition in which the prostate becomes enlarged and causes men to develop problems with urination. Nettle helps men to urinate more successfully during the day, and thus helps eliminate another annoying symptom of BPH—frequent nighttime urination.

As a daily tea (3x/day), nettle’s high mineral content nourish whole the body

Nettle tea benefits anemic, undernourished individuals. It is used for chronic respiratory, digestive and urinary tract illnesses that involve excessive mucus. Nettle is used for hay fever, asthma, arthritis and edema, and best used for long term in treating chronic illnesses.

Cool nettle tea is a wonderful diuretic high in potassium, helping it effectively release excessive water and edema from the body without depleting potassium levels, as most diuretic medications do. This makes it useful for urinary problems such as stopped urine, gravel, bladder and kidney infections and enlarged prostate. The young greens make a nutritious and tasty food in soups, stir-fry, steamed and in casseroles. Long term use this herb is necessary for true effects in malnutrition.

Nettle Tea can relieve acne and other skin issues

It has been established that Nettle Tea can relieve acne and other skin issues very effectively. Nettle tea does this by cleansing your kidneys and your blood which in turn gives you healthy skin. It accomplishes this as it’s a natural detox and anti-inflammatory.

Nettle tea during pregnancy

Nettle will aid kidneys, nourish the mother and fetus, ease leg cramps and muscle spasms, reduce hemorrhoids, decrease pain during and after birth, prevent hemorrhage after birth, and increase richness and amount of breast milk. It also prevents kidney and bladder infections, prevents anemia, and glucosuria. Nettles are high in vitamins A, C, K, calcium, potassium, and iron. Use in smaller amounts during pregnancy.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
