“And thus, there is the receiving of cosmic ideation through ideation.”

Ideas being born in the greater idea, an arena , large and with parameters where the smaller concoctions are made in context, or ideas as little children play, mimicking their intentions, forming the foundations from which to draw upon during their adulthood days.

This issue’s focus is on extracting the ideas formed in youth, influenced by the adults that shape our destinies, sometimes keeping us in bondage with unfavorable ideas superimposed on us, sometimes giving us some ultimate gift that stays with us all our lives.

Here, we attempt to break the ideas, unleashing our inner navigation, to sail according to our own maps. Here we also contemplate the ideas that create inner wealth, which is a wealth more worthy of our attention.

This is issue #3 of 33:33 - Contemplating Cards Of Cosmic Consciousness.

May The Light be with you forever.

PARACELSUS ORACLE CARDS – 31 -FORTUNA MINOR – ASTROLOGICAL SIGN OF LEO

The concrete balcony is humanity’s build of the world, the grand tower heightening to the heavens, the babel of all times. The balcony is where the children play, with a view of the mythical Eden or perhaps our interior paradise, but there is a separation, as we are wont to separate the world of the spirit and of matter. AT the root, there is no difference, matter is the expression of the spirit and spirit is the animating force of the matter. But the laws of man sometimes shape us and the laws of nature becomes something merely ‘decorative’ a beauty to behold yet lacking the deeper, mystical understanding.

Spirit teaches us through nature. To contemplate nature and it’s power and mysteries is a humbling and potent experience. We were meant to live in abundance, with nature to provide for our needs. Instead, we have regulated those needs and kept it form others for our own ends. We must now AFFORD abundance. We have placed gatekeepers between what our earth mother wishes to give us and what we wish to give to others. We have taken over duties of judgment it seems. We rank our statuses, we decide who lives or dies by our absurd rules. The laws of man can be corrupt and selfish. The education we get as children forms us. We must sometimes re-educate ourselves.

Are the children dancing or fighting? Is the third child from the left whispering dangerous, self-limiting ideas to the fourth child? Who are we hear? The offender? The learner? The victim? The predator?
The old hurts, the old ways have scarred us. True, we have helped others too, helped ourselves to reprogram, but it isn’t a one-time offer, a one-time fix when we spend enough money on spirituality (which in itself is an absurdity)

I pray for a time when things are more right, when, according to the symbolism of the image below, that language, circuit based design, can show us our origin points (The cross, four directional, four powers of the elements is multiplied in the spirit of three (form making, trinity forces) where we are thrust along the line of evolution through the gateway of the master plan, aligning ourselves with the WILL of the universe and coming into contact with the mount, ascending, attaining then moving on in eternity where we might be sent back to bring everyone else along with us. May we find our spiritual duties and inclination according to the Great Light that knows All, Sees All, and Gives ALL, and may we be blessed and aware enough to know and receive without any guilt or limitations thrust upon us in our childhoods. Let go of the deep traps. Ask for clearance and purging. Unlearn the problematic ways. Be open to the new liberations.

The Sign of Leo is our vision, our bravery to engage with the life-force, the Lust of the universe, that primal passion as expressed by the sign of the Lion. Let the six points be of harmony to us. Let the numbers 31 raise our vibrations to that of the number 4 (3+1), stability and structure. 31, according to Doreen Virtue’s Angel numbers means, seeing beyond earthly illusions and focusing on Divine perfection, allowing it to manifest in relationships and life.

This is where the light is. Let it enter.

SIBILLA ORACLE CARDS – 40 – SUCCESS

There is new consciousness to be received. Larger, more profound, almost saintly. Here, the old mind map and ways of thinking is discarded, along with the superficial powers of the fox fur shawl. The animal self is thrown off, the red book could be something Holy, could be something irrelevant, like a list of people who never did us any good or a list of wants that serve no true purpose.

Is that uncertainty in the man’s face? Or some kind of realization? What is the Red Book to you? What is success and should it be reassessed?
The ten of clubs card is the end of the material oppression and a new way ahead shall present itself. A new victory is in the works. There will be blessing for you, believe it. Doing the new. Set forth and explore uncharted territory.

There is mystery in the book, suggesting some kind of narrative. It is the most potent, centralized symbol in this card. The narration could be your life in review in order to determine the next chapters to be written with success as a visionary end point. If red means stop, then reflect, if red means a fiery power, then use that power to achieve what you desire, and yes, red is desire but also anger. Burn the book if it’s anger for it’s energy used in destructive ways.

‘Dress’ well for the coming success, that is, put on your real, well-fitted self for there is this need to be identified correctly and coherently.

The universe might just pass you by if it doesn’t recognize the true you.

THE MEDIEVAL SCAPINI TAROT – THE POPE

The congregation is unruly and would not listen to the voice of The Pope. Yet he laughs and gestures a sign of blessing and benediction. In fact, perhaps the people are laughing at the Pope, that figure of authority, rigidity and tradition who may need a change of clothes. Are the ‘vestments’ outdated as the teachings are? Who are the spiritual teachers now?

Direct experience is one of the ways, the venerable method of gnosis (knowing) The pope or Hierophant is life force teaching us through experience though we should set our minds to be able to see this teaching. Spirit teachers but have we signed up? All we have to do is ask.
See the three tiers of the Pope’s headdress. To me, it may be understood as the three levels of translating experience into Divine knowledge. The first tier is experience, the second is interpretation, the third is Divine application.
The context of the experience must be acknowledged and viewed on a broader, big picture level. The attitude or approach might be considered as the way we reap and extract the lesson involved in all experience good or bad, for on a cosmic level, there is no real good or bad but only the process of creating meaning as guided by a WILL to discover the secret teachings of enlightenment, the steps towards knowing the conscious positive INTENT of the primal –will-to good that is a direct expression of the ALL –LIGHT. This is the interpretative layer of the crown, which is rightfully ours to wear.

This state of mind, the perception machine of our intellect here must be sound and aligned with that notion of rightful intent of the universe and that trust we aught to have in it, that cosmos isn’t fooling with us. That it wants to TEACH us for good, for the better towards the best of who we can become, the inevitable Child of The All, the favored, Royal being of our spiritual heritage.

The application of this interpretation, guided by the All-Light is at the top of the procedure. Unless we PARTICIPATE after our activation through experience and the state of mind that interprets it, can we come to operate with the Light. This is where we practice being the pope, the authority of our own spirituality. The power returns to our hands where it rightfully belongs and with our hands we use it in the proper way as we are tuned in to the Will of the universe. This is the scepter we hold, our power symbol. And see our faces, red and laughing not out of mockery but out of joy because we have become larger than the unruly selves we were before the peak performance of our enlightened consciousness.

When we become spiritual kings and queens, we bless others and ourselves with spiritual light.

NATIVE AMERICAN TAROT – IX – L’EREMITA – THE HERMIT

The bodies of great serpents are entwined in a mass like a ghostly planet, following the ragged old man who nears the torch and the staff. This is the pope abandoning his rich vista of supranatural power to be the wandering spirit-man.
The Hermit attracts and pulls away the serpents of the world and leads them into a darkness where they can be castoff into another night, another place, never to influence and disturb the souls they had once bitten and scared.

This hermit here is the snake charmer, the worker with the other snake power which is the Naga, the kundalini, the transformative reptile belonging to the death card (for the snake is an aspect of death via shedding of skin and old selves to grow bigger, longer, more wise) For the snake also represents the wisdom of the ages and here, in this sense, the hermit himself is the bringer of many wisdoms, all intertwined, all correlated and corresponded.

His interior world is lit by the Spiritual flame of The Great Spirit, The ALL, manifesting as Sky Father-Creator-Giver of water (rain) and fire (sun) and air (breath) and the Earth Mother as Vehicle of creation, the earth and its fertility (growth) the supporter of life.

His fire does not die and though darkness surrounds him, though reality collapses, he is his own universe, intact, self-providing, spiritualized and wise beyond the earth plane. He is the solo-shaman, alone yet holding the entire world within his heart, isolated, yet in contact with all the worlds and all the stars. He travels in the night-time which is akin to the subconscious mind, operating silently and behind the scenes, deep and rich within though seemingly poor and dirty without.

There is a self-sustaining power in the Hermit and that power is also ours to know in our silent, interior life.

DARK GRIMOIRE TAROT – KNAVE OF SWORDS

The woman, the pinnacle, the sword. Here the pyramid of the elders ride among the lightning, the pure surging power of the old gods striking the earth to give it a potency a revivalism of darkness. Embracing the dark and wild, not just our light and obedience. This is not a restoration to an ‘evil’ side but a balancing knowledge that we are too capable of being evil. If ‘Heaven’ is within us, so is ‘Hell’ but the differentiating key is in our power to keep the ‘demons’ at bay, where they belong even if it’s in an abyss that’s part of our soul just as the infinite heights of heaven is here in us.

We may even be given the power to hold the ‘demons’ that other souls cannot deal with. Carrying their burdens as part of our pact with the Universe. To help shoulder the terrors of those we love.

It’s perhaps even useful to spend some time in darkness, to know its intimacy and its frightfulness in order to be wholesome beings. Being sheltered is sometimes not so useful. It will come to us, this darkness, even when we wish it would not. How would we react? How do we control or manage this terror? How can we be whole if it was only the sun we look forward to and not the night of sleep and troubled dreaming (which is largely purgation in nature) ?

We are who we are by the conflicts we overcome, the challenges we rise against. This is nothing new. To know our demons is as important as trusting our angels. A torch light is pointless in the bright days. It is in the dark when it comes in useful. There is duality spoken of here, true but we live, for the moment, in the world of dualities.

We can rise beyond this, yes, and when we do, we shall see that light is dark and dark is light functioning within the same visionary spectrum.

ARCHEON TAROT – KNIGHT OF WANDS

This young prince, armed with his wand of willpower, bathed in the blood red light from a fiery sun, seems to be confidently smiling at an adversary.
His face speaks not of fear but of a steady, unwavering look. We can’t see what he’s looking at but whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to faze this young spirit.

Confidence or recklessness?

We should know our limits no matter what showdown we’re in. Being overly confident can humble us. But confidence is also key to break down limitations.

If we don’t have that faith, that we can do something rightly and well, we usually prevent ourselves from trying it out. The warrior is an adventurous soul and when we fight for what we believe in, it usually takes on the dimensions of a war. Great things must be challenged. Great set backs may be blocking our way. This is where will power must be bigger than the thing we face on the path. This where Saint George must slay the Dragon armed with a resolve to conquer. Our realities are named and shaped by our own hands. How can we allow, something technically ‘man made’ turn into an overwhelming force that bends us to it’s will? That seems to be the contradiction, that our own creations have overpowered us.

It is time to take our power back. To face off with the monster we’re destined to slay, to sail the ship we’re born to command.

Be well armed. Be well learned. Be level headed. Don’t let our passions override us. Be in control.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
