Since the beginning of time man has recognized the power
and importance of fire. Even today, we have all had the time when
we came inside from a cold rainy or snowy night to find the
comfort and warmth of the fire. Its no wonder the fireplace is a
favorite spot for people to linger and chat letting the warmth sink
deep into their bones, whether its friends at a ski resort, lovers in a
log cabin, or campers telling tall tales around the fire, the appeal is
universal.

What we want to do, is use the great gift of fire combined
with candles, to balance our Aura and Chakras and thereby our physical,
emotional and spiritual lives. A good way to do this is to use one
votive candle for each of the Chakra colors. They are as follows:

TheRED: BASE OR "ROOT" CHAKRA
ORANGE: "SPLEEN" CHAKRA
YELLOW: "SOLAR PLEXUS" CHAKRA
GREEN: "HEART" CHAKRA
LIGHT BLUE: "THROAT" CHAKRA
PURPLE: BROW OR "3RD EYE" CHAKRA
DARKER PURPLE OR WHITE: "CROWN" CHAKRA

There are many different types of candle arrangements that
can be done. What we will do for our candle arrangement at this
time will be to form a line in front of us . This line will run from
right to left.
Take the candles and start at the right hand side. With the red
or "root" chakra candle, moving to the left, place the orange or
"spleen" chakra candle, then the yellow or "solar plexus" candle
etc. until you have all the candles laid out in front of you with an
even spacing between them. Get into a comfortable seated
position, making sure you wont be disturbed for about ten min.
Now you will light the candles starting at the red one then
moving from candle to candle, to the left . Imagine the flame from
the candles releasing the color energy and corresponding
vibrational energy of the candles into the air surrounding you. You
will then meditate on absorbing energy from these candles,
breathing in the very air that carries their energies! If some of the
colors are not needed they will not be absorbed, imagine your
Chakras taking just as much as they need and of the color they
need. Say for example, your spleen Chakra is overactive, it would
absorb the opposite color-blue. The details of which Chakras will
take what color and how much are not important to us at this time,
just trust your energy system to do the work it is meant to do, it is
now given the fuel and will balance itself.
For serious imbalances in the energy systems you need to see
a professional in person, reading an article is not the first choice
for resolving a serious problem quickly.
Please note when balancing the Chakras that music can be very helpful. Each Chakra has its own frequency it resonates at, when a Chakra gets out of balance not only does its size change but also the frequency of that Chakra is out of calibration. So please try listening to music that is soothing or energetic, preferably with no vocals. Pure tones will bring these Chakra points back into greater harmony. I listen to natural nature sounds.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
