Green ribbon
A glass jar or other container with a lid
Various small objects - preferably green, silver or white
(Such as paper, dried leaves, beads, pieces of smooth glass and coloured wood)
Green or silver glitter.

1. Cast a circle as normal, calling the quarters and erecting a barrier of energy.

2. Consecrate all the items which you are going to use, then lay them out on your altar (or if you are outside, a tray)

3. Sprinkle the cinnamon over all the objects and say:

‘Herb for healing,
Herb for hope
Herb for strength
Herb help me cope’

‘I call on thee, spirits of water, earth, fire and air, to aid me in this healing.’

4. Bind the Green ribbon around the jar three times:

‘Thrice I bind thee, and so with nine calls, you will heal.’

5. put all the small objects and the glitter into the jar, screw on the lid and shake it nine times:

‘Power of healing, I command you, heal (name of person) from all sickness!’

6. Thank the elements, and the guardians of the watchtowers, and take down the circle.

7. When you have finished, and then keep the jar in a safe place, and every time you need the power of healing, then take it out and shake it nine times, saying the following over and over:

‘(name of person) be well, (name) be free of sickness’

Healing Spell 2

Write the names of the people taking part on a blue candle. On a piece of parchment write a list of the things you wish to have healed. This can be specific or general. For you, someone else, or just the universe in general. Light the candle and see the energy being sent into the candle and leaving through the smoke and flame to carry out your will. Hold the paper to the flame to burn.

As it does say:

By full moon's light,
With helping hands,
I spread good health,
Throughout the lands.
Send energies far and near,
To heal this earth,
That I hold dear.
And all of those,
So dear to me,
With harm to none,
So mote it be.
Let the candle burn itself out.

Blessed Be

Healing Spell 4

Bath and Candle Healing Spell

Supplies:

1 blue candle
1 oz. powdered ginger
5 drops eucalyptus oil
Directions:

Run a hot bath. Add the ginger and the eucalyptus oil. Light the blue candle and turn out the lights. Enter the bathtub, and soak in the bath water.

Feel the waters cleansing you of the toxins in your body, and say:

Isis, Goddess who heals all
Release this (name illness: cold, flu, etc.) from me
Make me well again.

Chant this as you feel the toxins leaving your body. When you feel slightly shaky (this will happen!), drain the tub and visualize the toxins washing down the drain. Rinse your body and your tub with cool water, visualizing all of the toxins washing off of your body, and your body becoming free of what you were sick with.

Bring the candle to your room and immediately go to bed, keeping the candle light for a few minutes as you visualize yourself waking up feeling much better.

Blessed Be

Healing Spell 5

Healing Flames Spell

Draw a picture of the target with the disease, wound or condition. Clearly point out the problem in the picture: a large hammer against the head to represent a headache, black worms for a virus, a broken limb, a sore, etc.

Charge a red candle with healing energy. Light the candles flame. Hold the tip of the picture in the flame. After the paper is lit, drop it into a heat proof container.

Now, with the red candle still burning, draw another picture of target without the headache, free of the virus or sore, or with a healed limb. Place this picture under the red candle and let the candle burn itself out

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
