It seems there are a few of us going through some sort of battle with legal matters at the moment so I thought I would add some nifty little spells that may help out, always remember though that the most important part of any magickal work is the intent in which it is done. Also these are hardly likely to work if you have actually broken the law, for this i'm afraid you would just have to take your punishment, if the crime was commited in a non malicious way or for a good cause then you would have no worries anyway. These spells are designed more for sorting out legal battles like, an amicable divorce or seperation or a custody battle to ensure that a child goes where they are most safe and most loved........
FREEZING OUT A WITNESS OR LEGAL OPPONENT
If someone is working against you in a legal matter and you
know their name, you can try a freezing spell. Write their name
on a piece of paper (parchment is good) in pencil or India
ink (preferably). Fold the paper in half, then in half again
until you can't fold it any more. As you do this, imagine
their influence freezing / stopping, that they cannot do
anything until the thaw. Then put some liquid (vodka works
well I've found) on the paper and put it into a corner of
your freezer. Leave it there for 30 days. Start this on the
waning moon. It should stop them from influencing people or
things about your purpose. It freezes them out.

1) Wicca Herb Bag For Protection in Court
Mix equal parts of
sunflower seeds
bay leaves, and
skunk cabbage
together. Empower these on a Saturday during the Full Moon
and carry the mixture in a
small cloth bag
along with
some of your hair, blood, clothing,
or some other object link to represent you (or who the
protection is for).
2) Wicca Candle Spell for Court Cases
Perform on a Saturday During a Full Moon
Inscribe the name of whom the spell is for vertically on one
side of a black candle (protection), and what you desire on
the opposite side of the candle. You may wish to use a key
word or phrase for your desire, using as few characters as
possible. For example "Innocent verdict", or "Not
guilty" -- whatever the desire is.
Anoint the candle with vegatable oil. If you are drawing
something to you, anoint from the top of the candle to the
middle, and then from the bottom to the middle (toward the
center). If you are moving something away form you, anoint
it from the middle to the top, and from the middle to the
bottom (away from the center).
Take some dried
skunk cabbage,
bay leaves, and
sunflower seeds
and "crush" them in your hands, run them through your
fingers, visualizing your desire. Spread the mixture out on
a flat surface, and roll the anointed candle in the mixture,
so that it sticks to the candle.
Put the candle in a holder, and light the candle. Look into
the flame and strongly visualize your desire for as long as
you possibly can. Allow the candle to burn itself out.
Visualizing raises magickal energy, some witches may chant
at this point to also raise magickal energy. A chant may be:
"Lord and Lady hear me pray
Judge and Jury rule my way!"
If there is anything left over (candle wax, herbs), bury it
ON your property as close to your front door if the purpose
is to draw something toward you. Bury it OFF your property
if the purpose is to move someting away from you.
Keep in mind that many magickal people believe that if you
are guilty of a crime, no amount of magick will help you
avoid the consequences.
3) Wild Onion Spell for Banishment
Find an onion growing wild on your property, hold your hand
over it and say:
"This onion represents (Name), all that I do to it, I do to
him/her."
Now pluck the onion from the earth, and throw it off your
property, saying:
"I bear not malice, but cast out (Name)!"
Reinforce your words with visualization, and the proper
emotion (i.e. say the charm like you mean it -- with
feeling).
A SPELL FOR SUCCESS IN COURT
If you are facing a judgment in court, write down all possible verdicts on a piece of paper.
With scissors or a knife, cut out only the desired conclusion while focusing your mind on
a positive outcome. Carefully burn the unwanted portion, until nothing but ash remains.
Release or bury this ash so it is symbolically "lost" to you.
Carry the other piece of paper into court, wrapped in gold cloth, as a protective amulet.
Usage: Equity, fairness, truth, and legal matters.
Timing: When the sun is brightest. Moon in Libra. Months of July and December. Tuesday.
JUSTICE SPELL
The color orange represents business and fairness. Do this: Sit in a quiet place.
Ground and Center. Light an orange candle.
Concentrate on the facts of the case (issue) try to see the situation as an outsider.
Take a deep breath and play out in your mind different scenarios that may happen while in front of
the judge (board). Keep the scenario's realistic. Picture yourself as calm and factual as possible.
Once you are satisfied that you have played through all of the options then focus back on the candle
Request (from whomever you believe in) that they open the eyes of the participants to see through the
emotion of the situation and see the facts. Run through any new scenarios that come to mind.
Then extinguish the candle. The key here is to see the situation from all angles.
If you only see your own point of view than you may be more vulnerable to surprise questions.
Wel I hope these will be useful to whoever wishes to use them, remember they can all be altered to fit in with your particular beliefs and also to make them more personal, therefore more likely to work for your circumstances...
The very best of luck to anyone who is having a hard time with legal issues at the moment and I say now, Let justice be done.....
So be it!

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.
Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.
As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.
We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.
Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.
Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.
Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"
A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?
After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...
Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
