What are crystals?

So, what are crystals, how are they formed and why do we use them as healing tools for the human energy system?
Crystals are composed of minute particles called atoms, which are the building blocks of all things in the physical plane. These atoms are made up of even smaller particles called protons, neutrons and electrons. These smaller particles combine in a number of different arrangements and form the basic elements that go together to create the Earth, e.g. oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen etc. When these smaller particles are examined we see that they are not really ‘matter’ at all but subtle vibrations each in tune with the universal energy (the Divine). The entire world is built up from different combinations of these atoms and therefore is built up from energy vibrating at different frequencies.
Nearly all crystals are formed by the repetitive addition of new matter to the growing crystalline form over and over again, thousands of times. No one really knows how long the process takes, it is speculated that it takes thousands of years. There are many different types of crystal classified by their method of formation. E.g. Clear Quartz are classed as magmatic or igneous as it has its origin in the magma or gases of the earth’s interior or in volcanic lava streams that reach the surface. The molten lava cooled, hardened and solidified to form the crystals.
The microstructure of each individual crystal determines its physical properties; shape, hardness, optical properties etc. Each individual unit of energy within the crystalline structure aligns itself to the universal energy via its terminated peak and then joins in harmony with its other atoms creating a purified form of matter. If we look at clear quartz as an example, we can see that the atoms join in perfect unity and harmony. This means that the pulsating molecules all vibrate at the same frequency. There are seven different families of crystal structures where the length of the axes and the angles between them define the crystal’s shape.
Because crystals are subtle vibrations attuned to the Universal energy, they can be classed as vibrational variations of Universal energy. This is where the similarities between crystals and the human energy system starts. Crystals have the ability to open the doors of our consciousness to the higher dimensions and inner planes. They can also assist in the active awakening process by showing us and teaching us how to align ourselves with the essence, which creates and comprises the entire universe, Universal energy.
Humans and crystals have many similarities both physical and etheric. These similarities a crucial factor in the reasoning behind why crystals are used as useful healing tools.
We have a similar energy field around us to the ones around every crystal and indeed the planet.
We both have a North and South Pole between which the magnetic energies of the earth run creating polarisation of the planet and grounding us to the earth.
The Universal energy moves around us in a spiral pattern interconnecting with the magnetic energies creating our own energy grids like the energy grids created by the large crystals deep within the earth maintaining the basic polarity of the planet.
Like the individual energy units of the crystals each of our cells has its own balanced electromagnetic field, which interconnects with the whole to form the body in complete harmonious balance. This balance in the energy fields is maintained by chemical compounds, these chemical compounds are found in both the human body and within natural crystals.

We share many chemical elements within our bodies and in crystalline the crystalline structures.

Even the structure and makeup of our blood cells has been found to be similar to that of quartz crystal.

Our body’s physical systems; nervous, circulatory, endocrine and lymphatic systems contain electromagnetic currents and have a crystalline structure, which interconnect to form a complete system. This system works in sympathetic resonance to quartz crystals, which means that it vibrates at similar frequencies to quartz.

We use crystals when healing due to their natural functions of harmonising and balancing and the fact that we resonate (vibrate) in harmony with their structure.
Regarding the etheric similarities between crystals and human beings:~

We both have the ability to transform energy into another form of energy, as humans, we do this with our thoughts, changing them into actions/emotions.

We both have powerful auric fields capable of storing, focusing, transforming, amplifying and transmitting energy.

We are able to absorb and transmit energy (thoughts into actions and vice versa) as can crystals.

We record information within our energy field and store it there for future use (within other lifetimes). Crystals also record information that can be unlocked at a later stage.

Both crystals and healers allow energy to flow through them and they are both pure channels for Universal energy. During a healing session the healer calls upon the Universal energies to flow into the crystal during healing, the crystal allows the Universal energy to then flow through itself and into the client.
