How Crystals Can Enhance Your Energy by Rev. Carol A. Ingle (Raven)
Are you ever drawn to beautiful sparkling jewelry, crystals or just enjoy looking at unusual or colorful rocks? There may be a reason for that, and it may be more than just visual enjoyment! Rocks and minerals hold different vibrations and can be used to clear and center your energy by the simple act of holding them. It is easy and effective to work with crystals!
We’ve all seen the cliché of a psychic looking deep into their crystal ball, but would it surprise you to know that anyone can benefit from crystal vibration to clear negative energy, ground and center yourself and take you to higher vibrations?
Feel the Vibes
When you pick up a rock or a crystal, hold it for a few moments to get the feel of the weight and enjoy the look of this beautiful piece of the natural world. Look deeper into the inner facets and anomalies within the crystal. As you hold a crystal, think of going even deeper into this ancient piece of Mother Earth. Begin to feel the energy. You may feel a subtle vibration emanating from the crystal, especially if you have an exceptionally clear or powerful piece, and you may get a calm feeling from this simple act. Hold it for a few minutes or longer to absorb the minerals good vibrations.
Crystal Children
Do your children ever come home with pockets full of rocks? You may be the parent of a crystal Child, a group of children born since the new millennium. These special children are known for their big, deep, glowing eyes and their love of rocks and crystals. They are here to remind us of joy and to bring healing. Make sure to take them to visit rocks at gem and mineral shows in your area, or to local gift shops or New Age bookstores so they can be in contact with these essential formations. If you pay attention closely, you may actually see the crystals communicating with these highly sensitive and special children.
Common Calming Crystals
Obsidian, smooth and black, is one of natures calming and grounding and protective rocks. Carry them in your pocket to protect yourself from picking up negative energies when you are out and about. Rose quartz is a beautiful soft pink stone that helps open up your loving feelings, maternally, romantically and generally. Placing a piece of purple amethyst by your bedside will help to facilitate a good night’s sleep. I often times put obsidian and kunzite, a striated blue stone, near my computer to protect from electromagnetic energies. I always wear a necklace of clear Brazilian quartz and moldevite to support my connection to my guides and angels.
Clearing negativity from our everyday encounters is essential to maintaining a healthy, balanced state of mind. Regularly clearing your energies is as essential to your soul as a daily cleansing shower is to your body. Using crystals to assist in this cleansing and balancing is easy, fun, and can make a positive shift in your life!

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.
As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.
We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.
Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"
A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?
After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...
Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
