AVALON LEY LINE CRYSTALS

In the beginning, when the legends of mystical Avalon began, Glastonbury was a site for pre-Christian worship. Apple orchards flanked Glastonbury Tor, a large, oblong-shaped hill rising above the town; it rises from the Levels like the magical island of ancient lore. In Celtic times, it was known as the threshold to the spirit world where wisdom and knowledge were revealed. It is the faery Isle of Glass. Two thousand years ago, the sea washed right to the foot of the Tor. The sea gradually succeeded into a vast lake. In Celtic lore Avalon was an isle of enchantment and a place where the fairy folk lived.

Legend knows Glastonbury as the Isle of Avalon. a legendary paradise, where King Arthur's great sword Excalibur was forged; it is where Arthur went to heal his wounds and where his sister Morgan Le Fay had her magical stronghold. Christian legend knows the Avalon as the place where Joseph of Arimathea landed with the Holy Grail.

There are actually two distinct lines of energy in Avalon parallel to one another - flowing for nearly 300 miles. A large number of St. Michael and St. Mary churches are situated upon these lines, and so the energy pathways have been dubbed the St. Michael and St. Mary lines. St. Michael, or the Archangel Michael, is the revealer of mysteries and the guide to the other world.

According to old Cornish legends, Christ's uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, was a tin merchant who traded with miners on Britain's western coasts. On one of his trading journeys, he brought along his nephew, the boy Jesus, and together they made a pilgrimage to the Holy Isle of Avalon. Years later, following the Crucifixion, Joseph returned to Avalon and moored his boat. There he planted his staff in the ground, where it took root and blossomed into the Holy Thorn whose descendant is still growing on the hill today. The staff was made from the same thorn tree as Jesus’ crown of thorns. The famous Holy Thorn tree blossoms only at Christmas. From the Holy Land Joseph had brought the cup used at the Last Supper, which held the blood of Christ that dripped from the Cross. This most sacred of objects, the Holy Grail, is said to have been buried with the body of Joseph of Arimathea on Chalice Hill.

These beautiful crystals are pure solidified Light from Source. They are aligned with all that is holy and still hidden within our selves and our world. Within them lives ley lines of Living Light directing us to the next step of our journey. Much within our collective DNA is still waiting for us to remember what is magical and good about the world. These crystals house hidden doorways that can only be accessed by a strong belief in what is invisible.

The Michael and Mary Ley lines represent the balancing of the male-female. The very fact that Jesus went to this sacred Isle as a boy and Joseph of Arimathea came after the crucifixion to literally plant the Christ-Seed shows us a holy path in our hearts. These crystals are multi-structured and multidimensional in light and energy. They house a variety of ley lines of light allowing one to go to a place and time that the holiest aspect of magic was still alive. Use these beauties as a directional following the path of your hearts desires and dreams come true. Align them with what you question and what you seek to know in absolution.

STIGMATA CROSS STONES

I was very drawn to these stones the first time I saw them. They feel as a memory long held hostage in time. Almost like an ancient form of exchange or a sacred relic to be shown to gain entrance into a holy place. They are simple yet direct in their energy. We all have been those monks and priests, part of secret societies and mystery schools thru all time and space. We have cloaked ourselves and our secrets. We have heard more than any mortal should hear in confessions and predictions of future events.

Chiastolite is a variety of andalusite. It is also known as the "Cross Stone" because of the natural cross like pattern on the stone. The name chiastolite derives from the Greek word 'chiastos' which means 'cross marked'. This stone was discovered in Spain and has been used since ancient times for protection and to ward off evil eye. Chiastolite is a stone of balance/ harmony. It transmutes conflict into harmony and dispels negative thoughts and energies. This stone also can be used to treat depression, reduce anxiety, stress and guilt. Helps one Overcome feelings of loneliness, isolation or depression. Great Protection for travelers. Chiastolite opens Gateways to mysteries and astral/time travel enhances the energy of other prosperity stones. Healers use chiastolite to balance the immune system, fortify nerves, and increase lactation in nursing mothers.

Stigmata are bodily marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus. None are known prior to the thirteenth century. St. Francis of Assisi is the first recorded stigmatic in Christian history In 1224, two years before his death, he embarked on a journey to Mt. La Verna for a forty day fast. One morning near the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, a six winged angel allegedly appeared to Francis while he prayed. As the angel approached, Francis could see that the angel was crucified. He was humbled by the sight, and his heart was filled with elation joined by pain and suffering. When the angel departed, Francis was purportedly left with wounds in his hands, feet, and side as if caused by the same lance that pierced Christ’s side. The image of nails immediately appeared in his hands and feet, and the wound in his side often seeped blood. Some stigmatics marked themselves in attempt to suffer making them feel closer to Christ. Having a stigmata gave them direct access to the body of Christ.

The cross can sometims look as an ‘X’ Meaning of the ‘X’

· X = Roman numeral ten/ conversion factor.
· X = Multiplication symbol/ prosperity
· X = An unknown or unnamed factor, thing, or person.
· X = A kiss symbol at the bottom of a letter/etc
· X = Divine Partnership in the runes meaning "Gift" and indicating the principles of sacrifice and generosity.
· X = A way to mark the spot where treasure is found.
· X = 16th century Europeans used the X in place of Christ’s name, thus X-mas/mass.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
