Renaissance of Learning

The Revival of Learning is often seen as the natural evolution within the human mind and should which attributed to the creation of our modern world.  New ideas about religion, life, philosophy and science began in this era.  People were beginning to question the traditonal ways of life and learning.  They were interested in studying the world, human nature and why things functioned the way they did.  Politics in this era began shifting as well.  The governed were beginning to think for themselves and to not follow blindly. This Revival of Learning period was a crucial tipping point in history.  It was the beginning of what eventually lead to the Renaissance era.

Collectively, the Renaissance era and the Revival of Learning time period had everything to do with change and advancement.  The people of this period were getting away from tradition and classical ways of life.  There was a decline in the church’s ability to govern all aspects of life.  The feudal system of government was also mostly destroyed during these eras of learning. 

The Renaissance and Revival of Learning emphasized the advancement of language and nations.  Printing and paper were developed along with the compass and gunpowder.  All of these made traveling across the ocean, discovering new continents more possible. 

The Teutonic People best show how drastically life changed as a result of the Revival of Learning period followed by the Renaissance.  They were at first assimilated into medieval culture.  They were taught to follow Christianity and Medieval life ideals.  Their difficult ways of living gave way to peace and comfort in the Renaissance.  New ideas of church and how it should be included in the state emerged.  The people of this era were seeking change and were fighting for their right to learn and to be heard by their government.
