Is it all for nothing without one to share it with. I have gotten a place for a Family to live and rebuild upon the world. But in the several messages and letters typed and sent no words have yet to be received. Even a door key has been sent to them to prove this is for them and theirs as well.

Yet nothing has come of it.

Upon the first of June I signed a year lease upon this place. A two bedroom apt small but workable. With a large back yard as well. Below are the basic pictures of the place.

I have been able to acquire furniture and a few things. And have got some of what is storage held also here. Slowly it is growing into a place for them.

But the thought of is it worth without them. Does this matter at all. I have only anchored myself to a harbor. But it will be up to them to show me either it is a safe and good port to be upon. Or a deserted island, upon which one is very much alone and survives only because the world tells them to.

A small bed room with twin bed a dresser and mirror, closet and crate shelving. East window that the morning light come through. Which show the back yard.

The larger bed room. With two large recovered dressers. A Queen bed. Also crate shelving. Closet as well. With a East window.

A small bathroom. Tub shower. Yes semi clear blue curtain. With rack shelvingTwo drawers blow the sink and small cabinet access as well. Yes the Boo box is in there as well as all the skittles the Vet has told me to take.

Across the hall is another closet. Rod for extra hangers and coats. With crate shelves. Cleaning stuff, tools, and things will end up in here. As I get to straightening things out it will look better.

The short hall to the back right hand side is the access to water heater/furnace. after that bathroom. on the Right is closet and Bed room. The hall ends with the door to the smaller bed room.

Got a eating table with four chairs it has a center removable section as well. Hence dining area off kitchen

Got a desk for Laptop and a couch table for tools and projects beside it. Faces out the front of the place/ West window. So can see whom arrives and what goes up and down street. Can watch as the storms arrive. Have office Chair as well to sit upon

Got a big black couch and a metal glass table for in frontof it and a wood glass top for beside it on the front door end.

In an away behind the couch is the dryer. As well as mower. Also access to the crawl space under building.

Kitchen is metal cabinets. Single sink, washer, gas stove, and sm fridge.

Got most of the kitchen from the Vardar already. But also Coffee maker, toaster, blender, foreman grill, microwave as well. The Wok is here also as is the press pot. Have some green storage containers. Basic stuff. But with out one here to share or be worth it. I mostly use one bowl and a plate for things in the microwave.

There is plans to get a bigger fridge. Also a cabinet above the stove for spices and cooking things needed for there. The place has hard wood floors for the most part. Kitchen bathroom and a square by the front door is tile. The place has been basic primed to paint. I have sent words asking of her thoughts on what and where. But no words returned. No curtains as of yet but plan on it. To bright for me. The windows are large sliding types. Did put a light with fan in the kitchen and have one above the dining area. The hall and bathroom have the only other switch lights.  But have asked of ceiling light/fan for bedrooms and two in living area. Will see what happens down the line. The door locks have all been replaced. And I sent the new key to her as well.

Questions I asked of her were:

Would you prefer wood floors to carpet?   Could get area rugs for floor if wanted.

LG Bed room color? Sm Bed room color? Living room color? Kitchen/eating area color? Bathroom color?

Color being what would be walls and ceiling painted with.

Do you prefer electric or gas stove to cook on? We got gas.

Fan or AC? 2 ceiling fans for now one in bedroom.

Preferred Ceiling Fans & lights or just ceiling lights? If they are put in

Dryer to be in a side ‘Closet like area. Washer to be in Kitchen instead. Just the way things are piped.

I wrote three weeks in a row and nothing now been here two months and no contact.

Alone it seems the world will be.

So a roommate perhaps to find. Will not help mind but will make it less empty.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
