To Break A Spell

Get a white candle and place it in a holder.

Place the holder in the middle of your cauldron.

Fill the cauldron with water so that the candle extends above the rim of the cauldron and above the water.

Light the candle and visualize the spell being broken.

As soon as the flame burns down and touches the water, it will go out.

Dig a hole in the earth and pour the in the rest of the water and bury the candle.

So shall it be!

Breaking a Family Curse

First you need something that represents your family for several generations.

Either an extended family photo, a family/heraldic crest if you have one or a copy of your family tree. If using a photo or tree, it must include the names of those who you think are cursed and who you are including in the curse breaking spell.

Take the item and place it inside a green satin bag. Then, place one cup of sand, one good-sized quartz crystal or one stone inscribed/decorated with a Tree of Life symbol.

Lastly, write the following on a piece of parchment paper and place within the bag:

"Family ties that bind us tight
Protect us from a rivals sight
Once damaged by an ill word spoken
With love and light, this curse is broken!"

Sew the bag shut. At the dark of the moon, take the bag to the nearest river or moving body of water, and toss it as far in as you can. By the time the moon is full, the curse will be lifted.

Another family Curse Breaker

First, place a white or blue candle in a bowl of clean water.

Make sure the candle is only half submerged.

Light the candle and visualize the curse being broken.

Picture yourself and your family living happily in your home.

After 10 minutes of visualization, leave the candle to burn.

When it gets down to the water level and is extinguished, any curse laid against you and your family will be broken.

Next, scrub each door in your home with a solution of 4 parts water, 1 part vinegar and half a cup of sea salt (dissolved). Start with your front door and move through the house until you reach the back. Scrub the door on both sides, the knobs the frame and the space on the floor where the door sits when it is closed.

Do not use the solution on carpeting unless you are sure it will not stain. If you have delicate carpets, sprinkle a handful of salt only. When you are done, dispose of the unused mixture, preferably by tossing it out your back door. This latter part is a simple cleansing designed to disperse any lingering negativity and to ward your home against any new assaults or curses. You way wish to repeat this ritual whenever you start to feel those energies building up again.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
