Celtic Goddess Danu Full Moon Workshop

danu jan hess 213x300 Celtic Goddess Danu Full Moon Workshop

16th January 2014, 7-9pm

The Fairy Yurt, East Lindsaylands Lodge, Biggar, ML12 6NR

£10

Celtic Goddess Danu has come forward to lead this first full moon meditation workshop of 2014. This full moon is known as the Wolf Moon and is in the star sign of Cancer and occurs at 04.52am GMT. In this workshop Alphedia will channel the Goddess Danu and lead you on a spiritual exercise, then lead you on a healing guided meditation. Those attending the course will receive a personal message from Danu.

Danu is one of the oldest Celtic deities, she is known as the Triple Goddess and is an Earth Goddess associated with fertility, abundance and nurturing of the land. She brings through the energies of the Divine Feminine and realigns us with our divine truth. She is closely associated with Tuath de Dannan who are believed to be wise alchemists, ancient Atlanteans and have strong connections with Faery Folk and the Leprechauns. As an ambassador for the Elemental Kingdoms, Danu steps forward to help us at this time move more deeply into our heart centres to assist us in merging with all of creation. This moon in Cancer allows us to connect with deep emotional issues that have been burdening us and holding the space for us to release them with this moon’s energy. As we clear these blocks heart centred communications with the elemental kingdom becomes possible.

Those who are unable to attend can still take part in the course via the distance option and your name will be called in if booked before the start of the course, and an mp3 recording of the workshop will be sent to you.

Money Jar Spell 2

Below, are the directions to make a spell bottle for money. You can make this on the evening of the New or Full Moon. Gather the following by finding:

* 5 quarters
* 5 dimes
* 5 pennies

You'll also need:
* Small glass jar
* 5 kernels of corn
* About one tablespoon of whole wheat flour
* 5 cloves, whole
* A tablespoon of cinnamon (or three cinnamon sticks)
* A teaspoon of nutmeg

Place the coins in the jar. Add the rest of the ingredients. Hold the jar in your hands and visualize the energy going into the jar. See yourself smiling and saying how well the jar has worked. Put the cap on the jar. Hold it in your dominant hand and shake the jar saying this or some other preferred chant:

"Money, money come to me,
Money, money set me free!
Money troubles worries and woes,
Shall all end, and go, go go!
When you need money, just shake the jar."

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
