February : Snow Moon Sign
Much like your brothers and sisters of the Wolf Moon tribe, you are no stranger to hard work. Many of you had incredibly challenging childhoods, and have overcome insurmountable odds. These circumstances can make you see the world as a harsh place, sometimes you may even be critical or jaded about people and the world. This does not make you blind to beauty, however and you appreciate physical beauty - particularly in nature. Flowers, trees, animals will all sing sweetly to you and carry you to other worlds where you can escape. Your life lesson is about escaping into these natural worlds more often & letting go of the cold hard facts of reality.

MAGIC FULL MOON INCENSE

This incense is used in many rituals and is a common spell component.
It is an incense of increase that is deceivingly easy to make.
Use all of your focus and energy, your will and intention, while making this scent.
It is used over charcoals (the one's specifically made for incense) or over a ritual fire.
CAUTION! Warning and Yikes! If used over a ritual fire, flames will leap up along the
dust trail of this incense powder! There will be sparkling (sparks) of incense outside
of this trail of flames as well! This is an impressive effect, but dangerous if you are
not practiced at it! Start out small and toss about 1 teaspoon of it over the glowing
coals or flames, all at once, don't trail the dust or sprinkle it. Stand away from the fire,
and upwind. Use in areas that do not require burn permits, and have something to
douse the fire nearby. Do not use if you are wearing gauzy or loose ritual robes and costumes.

Moon of the Month... Storm Moon: The Storm Moon also known as the Death or Quickening Moon, is a time to do magick for fertility and strength. For most people in the Northern Hemisphere, February is a time of storms and bleak, short days. In the old days, it was a time of true hardship. This is a good time to do magick to help you face life's challenges. You could do a spell to help you with a particularly challenging project at work. Your spell could focus on helping you accept the challenge, persevere, and make it through. You could concentrate on the idea of weathering the storm and giving yourself the extra stamina to succeed. This is also a time of cleansing both internally and externally. As such, it's a great time to get rid of physical things you don't need and any mental or emotional baggage you might be hauling around with you, too. ~Angela~

Healing Sickness Spell #1

You Need:
Powdered cinnamon
Green ribbon
A glass jar or other container with a lid
Various small objects- preferably green, silver or white
(such as paper, dried leaves, beads, pieces of smooth
glass and colored wood)
Green or silver glitter.

1. Cast a circle as normal, calling the quarters and erecting a barrier of energy.
2. Consecrate all the items which you are going to use, then lay them out on your altar (or if you are outside, a tray)
3. Sprinkle the cinnamon over all the objects and say:

‘Herb for healing,
Herb for hope
Herb for strength
herb help me cope’

‘I call on thee, spirits of water, earth, fire and air, to aid me in this
healing.’

4. Bind the Green ribbon around the jar three times

‘Thrice I bind thee, and so with nine calls, you will heal.’

5. Put all the small objects and the glitter into the jar ,
screw on the lid and shake it nine times

‘Power of healing, I command you, heal (name of
person) from all sickness!’

6. Thank the elements, and the guardians of the
watchtowers, and take down the circle.

7. When you have finished, then keep the jar in a safe
place, and every time you need the power of healing,
then take it out and shake it nine times, saying the
following over and over:

‘(name of person) be well, (name) be free of sickness’

The Craft of the Wise

Healing Sickness Spell

Process: On a full moon use 3 light blue candles, and form a triangle. Sit in the middle and start chanting:

I use my power
And all my might
To heal the one
Into my sight

After you have said the words do not extinguish the candle flame, let it be extinguished on its own
Used for getting rid of pneumonia and the flu.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
