Mix the following ingredients with mortar and pestle:
3 pinches of dried marjoram dash of ground cinnamon dash of ground ginger
Marjoram is ruled by the air element, the spices by fire.
Think of the heat of the spices bringing energy to the intellectual element of air, stimulating success.
As you combine the ingredients, visualize the success you wish to achieve.

One of the symbols of the Goddess Bridget was the serpent, which represented healing and transformation.

In Scotland and Ireland, a divination ceremony called the Rite of the Serpent was performed in early February.
Use this spell to encourage the arrival of spring and increase life energies and blessings in your own life.
Light a green candle and set it on a white cloth.
Meditate on the image of the serpent.
Offer it honor and devotion, and ask for a sign of what is to come, saying:

General Uses: Adventure. Voyages. Any time you are going out of the home (by foot, by car, or whatever).

Place mint in a wallet, purse, or briefcase. This was believed to encourage prosperity, as well. To accent this effort, use a fresh mint leaf wrapped neatly around a small moonstone or other favorite good luck charm.
Put a handful of fragrant Tonka Beans in a small glass jar, place a small candle charged for money in the tonka bean jar. Let the candle sit in the jar for one week prior to the full moon. Remove candle on the full moon, lite the candle whenever you need to better your finances.
Take three Tonka Beans, put them in a bag of your choice. Recite over the bag the following verse three times. Carry bag with you to attract money..
Find a bottle and stuff it with small pieces of thread of many colors (except black). This project will probably take you many weeks, since only small pieces of thread (one to three inches in length) should be used, and each must be introduced into the bottle separately.

Clearing Up Spell
This is a favorable day for clearing up old business from last year.
If you have too many debts from the holiday season, deal with them now.
After paying what you can and mailing the checks, make a stack of the portion of your bill receipts.
Put a piece of malachite on them, the larger the better.
Light a green candle, and say:
"Debt flow out,
cash flow in.
Without a doubt,
money I win."
Then blow out the candle. Remember, the extra money that comes to you has to be used to pay your debts or the magic will stop working.

Banishing Nightmares Spell
Take a naturally holed stone and place over the bedroom door/window or even the bed itself.
Such 'hag' stones have been used for centuries to ward of the night hag that would ride horses at night and cause troubled sleep 'night mares'.
As you hang the stone chant:

Obatala Mercy Spell
Ask for Obatala's mercy on tax day.
Obatala is the Yoruban god of purity, goodness, and mercy.
Before mailing your tax return, put a little coriander oil on the envelope.
You may also anoint your wallet, checkbook, and so on.
Take an Epsom salt or milk bath to feel pure, and wear at least one item of white clothing today.
Buy an Obatala candle at a botanica, or if unavailable, light a white seven-day candle, anointing it with the oil as well.
Ask Obatala to keep you from being one of those unlucky taxpayers who is chosen at random for a tax audit.
Offer him a glass of pure spring water, a white rose, and some hard candy. Light the candle every day until it burns down.

Take yourself to a high place like a tree branch or safe rooftop to meditate.
Focus your eyes on the horizon.
As you do, bring the image of the farthest spot you can see into closer scrutiny without losing sight of the surroundings.

A small piece of parchment paper
Black ink pen
Write on a peace of parchment paper a goal you desire in your life as you write it visualize clearly your goal.
Hold the paper over a cauldron or large fire-proof container and burn it.
Speak the following words.
"Flame of light,
Burning Bright,
Seal my spell,
At this magic rite."
As the parchment burns the spell is dispersed into the air.
