Thank You Very Much Lady Fae for the Invitation. I shall try to be gathering some information from some of he Methods of Black Mirror Scrying that My Wife and I have done in the past. I believe we have several Rituals typed out in our Book Of Shadows that I can apply to a Discussion Topic. This is the Technique Re-discovered by Poke Runyon of the Order of the Temple of Astarte in Suuthern California. We did make some alterations to the method though.
I have just finished making what I consider an interesting post about "The Speculum (The Dark Mirror) Scrying" I hope others find it informative and interesting as well.
The Last Part is a Concise Black Mirror Scrying Ritual Outine for the Sumerian Goddess Inanna. I shortened the actual Scrying Ritual Outline for the sake of space here in the group.
Enjoy, and please if anyone has questions, or comments, I would be glad to field them.
My favorite kind of divination is the Druid Sticks of the Ogam alphabet. I have had my sticks for a very long time. It uses the Celtic Trees as its divination technique. Each tree, bush, vine is represented by a letter, and it has a particular meaning. In two of D.J.Conways books, Oak,Ash,and Thorn and, Advanced Celtic Shamanismis the Ogam Alphabet with the corresponding definitions, it also has the Celtic god/goddess, stones, month, color and planet for each letter.
At Samhain I do a Branches of the Tree reading for my family members and myself for the new year. I have done this particular stick layout for others at different times of the year as well. But I prefer to it for myself now as it gives me a peek at the upcoming year. Personally I think the reason I prefer the sticks is genetic memory...I am of English/Scots/Irish descent.
Have a happy Samhain everyone,
Goddess Bless,

Drago says this is a good place for me. As a Celtic Druid I use runestones. I have studied Tarot and the window of the Self. I would enjoy an oppourtunity. To join your group. Awaiting your response. Rev. cj Guzzi. Call me MAC
Fill the caludron haif full of fresh water Float a few buttercup or marrigoldpetals in it. Light your incense. be careful that candles you use do not reflect in the cauldron or your eyes. Stir the cauldron 3 times with your ritual knife. while chanting "into the threads of time i cast my thoughts, to catch a glimpse of what will be,O Gods of asgard bring into my mind the lovely gift of prophecy" lay aside your knife look deepinto the cauldron. The prophecies may come in visions , impressions or dreams. this best to be done on the full moon
Imbolc is a fallow season, when the earth is sleeping and dormant, and for many folks who follow earth- and nature-based religions, it's a time to rest and rejuvenate. In some magical traditions, this is the season where we work on goal setting and divination to see what's lying in store for us once the earth wakes back up. Many people are familiar with Norse runes as a tool of divination, but did you know that with a little practice, you can use any set of stones for guidance?
Throw some hair into a fire. It is said to be a sign of long life if the hair flames vigorously. It is said to be an omen of ill health if it simply smolders away.
Take a sprig of rosemary, ask a yes/no question seven times. Then pluck a leaf off of the sprig while saying yes, do it again while saying no. Continue to alternate until the sprig is bare. The last leaf you pluck shall reveal your answer
Holding a stone, sit in front of a bowl of water. As a question with a yes/no answer. Drop the stone into the water. Carefully count the ripple that it makes. If there is an even amount of ripples (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.) the answer is yes, if there is an odd amount (3, 5, 7, 9, etc.) the answer is no.
Another way to determine whom you will marry is to use a bowl of water and a flat stick. The bowl should be earthenware and should be filled at least half full of water that has been taken from a flowing stream. A flat stick or piece of wood is then laid across the bowl, from one edge to the other. This represents a bridge over a river or stream.
On the night of a Full Moon, place the bowl of water and stick underneath your bed. Just before you sleep, concentrate your thoughts on an actual footbridge over a stream. Tell yourself that you will dream of it that night. Not only will you dreams of the bridge, but you will dream of yourself crossing the bridge and, halfway over, falling off into the water. But you have no fear, someone will come and rescue you.
With these expectations, built up in your mind throughout the day and then reinforced just before you sleep, you should have no trouble actually having that dream. The trick then is to remember when you wake who it was who came to your rescue and pulled you from the water. That person is your future spouse.
Wednesdays at 7:00pm Divination Class with Shaman. Admission will be by donation, whatever you can afford to pay. This will be an in depth coverage of many methods of divination, tarot, runes, bones, and much more! This should be an exciting experience! Ope...n to walk in and will continue each Wednesday! All sorts and styles of divination will be covered, including scrying. Though scrying will come later in the series. We'll be doing more than just learning the meanings of cards and runes. The plan is to dig into some deep ideas and understandings along the way.
Nephelomancy - the art of divination using clouds.
Nephelomancy is a form of aeromancy (divination using atmospheric phenomenon) in which the size, shape, color and movement of a cloud or cloud formation is interpreted. It comes from the ancient belief that clouds with their constatly changing shapes were messages sent from the Gods. Since interpretation can be so varied, only the basic "how to" will be presented. First decide on a question or problem that you are having difficulty resolving. Next chose a day that has partially clear sky in order to define the shapes of the clouds. Some people prefer to lay on the ground in order to save their neck and get a good view of the sky. Others myself included prefer to use a large bowl that is filled with rain water that reflects the sky like a mirror. After asking your question or stating your dilemma, close your eyes and clear your thoughts. When you are ready, open your eyes and scan the sky/reflection, interrpreting all that you see. Pay attention to the shapes, thickness or thinness of the clouds as well as the direction in which they are moving as well as colors for answers. If you do not feel as if you have received the answers you seek, be patient and keep trying. When finished thank the clouds and meditate on your answers. Happy cloud watching! ~Cinda

Trying to decide between two or more loves? Give this a try!
Fill ONE (non metal) CONTAINER with HOT WATER. Take TWO (or more depending) BOUILLON CUBES (broth) - each one representing a lover.
Drop the CUBES into the WATER. Wait 3 MIN. Check the CUBES. Which ever one dissolved faster is the beau for you!

Need a yes or no answer to a question? Give this a shot!
Go outside and form TWO SNOWBALLS of the same size while you are thinking about your question.
Bring them inside and place them each into their own BOWLS. One BOWL is for YES and the other is NO.
Which ever SNOWBALL melts the fastest in a 1 hr period is the answer.
