SINGLES ARE WELCOME and encouraged to attend!! This is a completely safe, sane and consensual party. No ALWAYS means No. It is a cozy and very friendly atmosphere where you can feel comfortable simply observing.

There will be other single people there to talk to as well.
There will be absolutely no pressure and you can progress at your own speed or, simply be an observer.
Single females can feel safe coming to the party alone. There will be many submissive females that will be there to talk to.
I am very serious about making sure that you are comfortable and safe.
Single males are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT: This is a relaxed atmosphere in a low protocol setting.
Manners are appreciated and expected. We have many group members that will be
delighted to answer questions and help make you feel comfortable without any pressure.
No ALWAYS means No!! I am the party host and if there are ANY
questions or concerns, you can feel free to come to me at any time.

WHAT TO WEAR: This is a semi formal event. Please dress accordingly. Women may wear corsets, fetish, latex, lingerie, sexy dresses or nothing at all!
For the men: Leather or latex is a plus, but jeans are ok.
No admittance to anyone wearing cutoffs, flipflops or anything that looks like beachwear!!

If you have any concerns about what to wear, please write me and I will try to
help.

FOOD: Soft drinks will be supplied. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish to share. A few ideas would be: fruit, veggie tray, cheese, home baked cookies or cake, which is more likely to be devoured than a bag of chips (and a lot healthier)

ETIQUETTE: NO MEANS NO! We are VERY serious about that! Do not touch other people's property without permission - which means toys, whips, and slaves!

Once again - If you see something you don't understand or have concerns with -
DO NOT approach anyone who may be playing
DO NOT INTERRUPT A SCENE EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU ARE HELPING!

Do not have loud discussions while other people are scening.

Be prepared to see things that you may have not seen before.

Please leave enough room for tops to swing a whip. Please don't interrupt scenes or talk to those while they are scening. Equipment is limited! Please do not tie up play equipment for long periods of time and please clean the equipment after you use it.

Please bring a towel if you are going to have a bare bottom and use it when seating on the furniture

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
