I am a mother, grandmother and widow. I am an avid reader so for me to pick a favorite book or even a favorite author would be impossible. I do love my Wiccan books and fiction about vampires, werefolk and other creatures of the night. I also love mysteries. And westerns. And sci-fi. LOL I told you. My movie tastes run about the same. My taste in musicd runs toward world music, blues and clasical.
Are you currently living what may be considered an alternative lifestyle? For example, are you a traveling artist, practicing a non-mainstream spirituality, or part of a BDFSM lifestyle?
If by alternative lifestyle you mean not WASP then yes. I am an Eclectic Wiccan, I like to play in the BDSM world when I can, and I love to dress up in historic garb and hit the reenactment circiut when I have the time and money.
What does the older knowledge of legend, myth, lore, story, tale, wisdoms mean to you?
It's a daily part of my life and faith and has been for most of my life.
Do you belong to any organizations; re-enactment based (i.e. households, tribes, clans), spiritual based (i.e. covens, orders, or other pagan groups) or other? If so which ones and where?
I have, in the past, belonged to a coven and hope to again someday soon. I miss my coven but had to move away. I am the forth in a six generation (at least) family of hedgewitches.
If not of the older life styles, how tolerant are you ?
I try to be tolerant of all lifestyles.
Have you ever been to a Renaissance Faire or Medieval Fest? If so, which did you prefer? If not, which would you rather attend? Would you rather be a participant or spectator? Please relate to us your experience!
Medieval Festival! But both are fun. As are pirate festivals and civil war reenactments.
Do you have any artistry, crafting, and trade… what do you create, Please share your talents with us.
I sew so I make ritual robes and cloaks. I also make period costumes. I make drawstring bags in several sizes. I also work with wood so I make wands and walking staffs.
