A Rough Patch...

2014 was a harder year for me then most. I took care of my best friend who had stage four cancer until she passed this summer. She gave me all of her belongings to sell so that I could pay off my house. She lived in my house with me and was a hoarder so it took me all of 6 months and 7 dumpsters full of trash to sort through everything. My house is still full of her "stuff".

Just as I was going to give up hope and just let the fates take me where they will, I got a convo from a beautiful lady friend. Just talking with her on FB everyday lifted my spirits and we soon began dating. Although we live 5 hours apart she is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time...15+ years. I am not sure where I would be today without her.

That being said...I am revitalized and making lots more jewelry. Some time in the future I may be moving down to the DC area to be closer to her as well as a possible apprenticeship with a goldsmith. First I have to get my debts paid as well as my house paid off and fixed up to sell.

It has been a long road but I think I just might make it!
