<p>Above are the subdivisions for booths each assigned a category number. Each will hold many different items but for the most part will be what they state in their titles. There ten categories. So if we figure for each 500 people we allow one of each in, then if the average gate for the last three years is say 16554 people. SO that number of 16554 is divided by 500. That gives you 33 of each type into the faire allowed, which means you will look to having 33 X 10 which gives you 330 vendors allowed for. This also includes and booths put up by performing {demo (what ya, doing)} group as well. Is that good enough. Just remember to book evenly as you go. Ensuring that each division is full as you fill the 33 allotted slots in each listing or you will end up again with over population of one type of item and not enough of another. The simple way is make the 33 a goal but check it off as each number is filled in total categories. See below for example.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Now you can either divide up and scattering venues making people look for what they came for or you can do as they would have in the original gatherings which alike venues tended to drift together. For example where the fighting was would be armor, weapons, and items close to that. The clothing would be in an area mostly of shade. Trinkets and beads were usually surrounding the food courts be cause eating tended to slow people down to look more carefully at items and sparkles would catch their eye when standing in line waiting. Around the stages were shops of mixed items for those on the outskirts of the performances.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Through ways were usually 20’ wide for normal travel and 30’ for emergencies. Most shops had banners and ribbons out in the wind to attract attention and a sign with a shop’s symbol upon it for those who didn't read as well as one which spelled out their name, for the more nobler born. Streets were marked in the same fashion. Food was also in usually two spots the first being where the main attractions were. The other where the wind would blow the sent of food through out the whole gathering area.</p>
<p>For a simple chart for booking booths for the fair. As booths are booked a booth number is placed as reference so it is quickly seen what division is filled for the amount allowed remember to book evenly +/- 3 booths ahead or behind along the current booked majority.</p>
<p>As seen as they are booked they get a booth number and it goes into the divisional number row. This way not only one can quickly see how it is filling up but also which divisions need booths and if color coded can see who has paid {green}, who is pending {orange} and what is the last number used {*}. Easy done easy to deal with. As letters come in from the initial sending a package is sent with a number as pending. Then when it is returned the process of accepting or denying is done and the response sent. Pending means while you have one ready to fill the slot. They have been sent an application package and are awaiting their response. You still fill in more for not all pending will always work out for you. This is why it is important to evenly book booths. For if a pending booth pulls out or does not send the application to you within a month’s time you will have something to fall back upon. And you will not be scrambling elsewhere. But also a reminder post card can be sent to them asking what their status is on the application or their decision on participating in the faire.</p>

Artisan/Crafters may begin checking in and setting up at 7 am Thursday prior to the show and must be fully set up and ready by 1 HOUR BEFORE OPENING on Saturday. There will be no Saturday morning check-ins. Check-in will end at 7 pm on Friday. No vehicles will be allowed entrance on site 60 minutes prior to opening, and must be off site 45 minutes prior to opening. Artisan/Crafters not set up on time, may be prohibited from opening and participating and will forfeit all fees. We prefer that all is set up an hour before opening.</p>

<p>Any Artist/Crafter appearing to/or breaking down during faire or leaving during faire hours will not be invited back and no refunds will be issued. All displays and other items must be off the grounds by 2 pm Monday afternoon after the faire.</p>

<p>Your Event Name Here reserves the right to halt vehicular traffic at the end of the day to insure that all performances have finished and that all patrons have left the faire grounds. The roadway will not be opened until 30 minutes after closing at the earliest on Saturday and Sunday, and may remain closed if deemed unsafe by the Site Manager. Your Event Name Here reserves the right to make exceptions in cases of medical or other emergencies. It is up to you to make accommodation to transport any necessary items to and from your space or staging area. No exceptions!</p>

<p>Upon arrival all must stop at the site entrance to check in. There you will receive your packet with site map, site passes & possible parking assignment. Check-in will start at 7am Thursday prior to faire and will continue till Friday 7pm. After that, Artisan/Crafters who are late must contact the Your Event Name Here Artisan/Crafter Advisor and plead their case. There will be no after dark placements and there will be no Saturday check-in or placement. You will not pick or move your allotted Artisan/Crafter space doing so will result in being required to leave the faire. You will be assigned a space before the faire opens. No one other than faire approved participants and authorized persons are permitted on faire grounds before and after faire hours.</p>

<p>You and your staff must check in when first arrive to receive site passes. You will need to provide a roster with their names. There will be four site passes for each standard booth/tent. If you need more than four site passes you most make the proper arrangements at least one month before the show. Security will be patrolling the site and will have the authority to ask to see site passes. Non-participants found on site will be escorted off of site and may be charged with trespassing depending on the circumstances. If a site pass is lost a replacement fee may be charged. If you fire an employee or they quit, collect their site pass and return it to the Artisan/Crafter Coordinator, if you can. Also notify the coordinator of the individual’s name if this happens. If you hire a temporary employee, you must give the event seven days notice, in written form, before they start working for you. This gives time to make a site pass and have that person placed on your employee roster sign a waver and that have read the policies of the faire. Participant passes are not valid for admission at the public gate during show hours. Please use the Artist/Crafter gate. Please do not annoy our staff by asking for site passes for non-employees, friends and family. We do provide 10 day passes before the show with your packet. If you need more you can purchase discount tickets at the office or gate. You can also purchase tickets or season passes from the Artisan/Crafter coordinator before the event starts at a discount. These ticket sales will be counted as advance ticket sales.</p>

<p>Unloading area during the event will be in your Artisan/Crafter space and or camping space. All vehicles must be removed in a timely matter following unloading. Vehicles on site must not block roadways at any time and must be moved as directed by the faire’s staff. The speed limit on site is 3-7 MPH depending on area and conditions. Dust is unhealthy for people and products. Speeding traffic is unhealthy to children. If you do not keep your speed down, we will implement steep fines for the abusers. If it has rained check with the site manger to see if driving conditions are good. If you become stuck leave your vehicle there, it can be removed later when the ground is dryer. DO NOT tear up the grounds. Vehicles are to be parked in the Your Event Name Here Artisan/Crafter parking area. Trailers will have a separate placing as will over sized vehicles. You will receive one vehicle pass and trailer pass per booth space. Parking passes must be displayed in front window of your vehicle or taped to the tongue of the trailer. These passes allow the vehicle access on the faire ground proper. Persons not complying with these stipulations may be asked to leave or may have their vehicle towed at their expense. Although there will be volunteers and security personnel patrolling the area, Your Event Name Here is not responsible for vehicles or for any lost or stolen items. </p>

<p>Please provide, by registered mail, this Agreement, pictures with descriptions (CD if possible), and all fees, no later than three months in advance of the opening date. These should show your craft/work styles that you plan to vend at the faire. Pictures may be used for publicity and will kept on file. Even if you are a returning artisan from last year, please send photos to refresh you file and if new items. If paying in full before one leaves site for the following year’s Faire or a returning Artist/Crafter, photographs are not required. Please list all of the items and/or services you intend to offer on the application form. This should include any new products that you are planning to offer for sale this year. There is no subletting of any Artisan/Crafter space. Cancellation requests received after that will be considered on an individual basis with the Your Event Name Here Staff having final decision to determine refunds. Refunds will be mailed within 30 calendar days following the cancellation notification as long as it’s prior three months to the starting date of the faire {March 3rd}. After that there will be no refund.</p>

<p> Vender booth fees are 100.00 for the standard 20’ X 20’ tent/booth space. Remember that five feet needs to be added on standard external rope tent measurements for staking and mapping spaces. So a 20’ x 20’ tent or smaller is one standard space. But will be allotted 2.5 feet around for ropes. Any non standard spaces needed, will be measured diagonally of the tent canvas floor spacing only and will be charged $10.00 per foot above the diagonally measurement of a standard space. Special sized sites will be done on a case by case basis, and you will be promptly notified as to those fee terms by phone as well as USPS.</p>

<p> Artisan/Crafting discounts for demonstrations may receive up to 50% discount for the full run of the show on booth fees depending on the what and how of the demonstration. Your Event Name Here staff will determine artist/crafter performers an term them as Vendertainers and will schedule up to three “staged” performances of 30 minutes each per day. These performances will be listed in the daily schedule of activities. As well as one 15 min. “VIP” performance per day, when needed. All performances will receive a separate listing within our guidebook and marked on the site map. And are encouraged to pass the hat of course. This will be a contractual arrangement to be fulfilled by the Artist/Crafter themselves not by someone they appoint in their place. It will be the sole responsibility of the Artisan/Crafter to meet those requirements applicable to the enterprise. Artisan/Crafters shall retain all proceeds of their sales. <p> Artist/Crafters are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with reputable business practices. “Hagglespeak” or agreeable price augmentation {dickering} is welcomed and encouraged by the Your Event Name Here Staff. This provides a wonderful period experience and interaction between the customers and Artist/Crafters. Artisan/Crafter interactions with the patrons and performers are expected and encouraged, however no interaction may disrupt Your Event Name Here proceedings. We strongly encourage enthusiastic hawking of your merchandise from your own tent/booth space. However, if you decide to travel the grounds in conjunction with your booth (i.e. beyond three booths past your tent, your booth being the first) and sell your goods away from your space, there is a traveling hawking fine of $100.00 each time during the run of the fair.</p>

<p> Or a $100 per weekend fee if just a one person moveable wondering style cart is used. Carts must be of period design, function and viewable by the public on all sides. Street Artisan/Crafters and Service providers will operate in sales area and movement patterns may be designated. No adjustments in this assigned area or pattern may be made without the written permission of the faire.</p>

<p> A separate security deposit of $50.00 is due as well and will be returned by mail 14 days after the Faire closes if your booth/tent space is left clean. If you make changes to the landscape or grounds and do not return the area to the original condition, an additional fee of $70.00 will be assessed on top of any cost to repair the grounds. <p> Your Event Name Here is open to all artisans, crafters, and/or their representatives {this does not mean wholesale bought items from other artist/crafters, but those who truly represent the artist/crafter and have done so for at least three years, documentation/proof may be asked for}, provided the work to be sold meets the above time period and is appropriate for the theme of our faire. All craft media is welcome, though work keeping with the theme of the event is strongly encouraged and will be given preferential treatment. At least 90% of the work must be executed by you and/or your assistants. Representatives must have a working knowledge of the craft or item’s construction if not apprentices of the artist themselves for a professional presentation. Preference will be given to those who display and provide working demonstrations. Less than 7% of the items can be of wholesale for resale stock of the venue in the booth. In other words either the items are made by those in the booth. Not Bought then passed off in a booth of the same item. Handmade items that use premanufactured items other than stock materials can only have less than 10% premanufactured items comprising the whole. We are trying to discourage the Mass produced, Retailer and import look from our event, to ensure a true artisan and crafter environment of the faire. The look of which detracts from the market place and uniqueness of the other booths will not be allowed.</p>

<p> All works will be reviewed by the Your Event Name Here Staff. Reviewing will be done from the slides/photos or picture CD with descriptions provided by the applicant. Web sites can be reviewed as well for venue and pictures of stock items that the Artist/Crafter carry, though not preferred. Please allow up to 30 days for a response to be sent to you. From the date of arrival. All new venues must submit photos, to ensure fairness. The only exception is if paying before they leave site for the following year’s Faire. New venue subjects of returning Artist/Crafters must be juried in no later than three month prior to opening date of the event All slides/photos or picture CD with descriptions must be entirely representative of the style works to be sold at the Your Event Name Here. All merchandise presented for sale must be in good taste and non-discriminatory. We reserve the right to jury works at the site of Your Event Name Here itself and immediately dismiss any Artisan/Crafter who has violated this policy or misrepresented the work being sold. If dismissed, no refunds will be given. No factory and/or kit looking, assembled merchandise, or items imported for resale will be allowed.</p>

<p> Your Event Name Here jury must approve your booth, merchandise and Artisan/Crafter’s costumes. Items will be considered for appropriateness to the faire, uniqueness, and quality. Should merchandise, booth, or costumes be found unsuitable, Your Event Name Here may reject the applicant outright or request changes to the booth, costumes, or merchandise. If your application is denied for any of the above reasons, your application fees will be refunded to you, within seven days of the decision. Appeals to this process should be directed to the Artisan/Crafter Jury Committee of the Your Event Name Here Staff in writing with documentation supporting the reason for the appeal. <p> There is no exclusive venue type of booth in this faire. An Artist/Crafter’s booth should count on their individual style and talent to ensure an item sells. All an exclusive does is to give the message that one is afraid of all others vending similar items and can’t rely on themselves to sell what they have made. Your Event Name Here will try to ensure as well not to over populate the faire with any one type of Artist/Crafter booth. But will maintain a good balance as the faire grows for the public to enjoy and be able to pick from.</p>

<p> Your Event Name Here staff will have final decision on any object or display media that is deemed anachronistic to these periods of time. Depending on the social climate of the area may dictate what is allowed and what is not. But the Your Event Name Here will not infringe upon any rights of indivuals or groups within the United States.</p>

<p> It is the sole responsibility of the individual Artist/Crafters to provide their own display media. Non-period tables must be covered, including the legs, in such manner that suggests they conform to the standard theme. The Your Event Name Here staff requests a neat and professional appearance at all times. Tents/Booths must have at least one all-purpose fire extinguisher available and in sight at all times and must meet with safety inspector’s approval. Weapon booths must display directions to a first aid station and have a first aid kit available.</p>

<p> The general set-up and display media used in the booths is expected to appeal to medieval period styles. All participants must dress in costuming or appropriate attire within the time periods of 700AD –1400 AD time period, which participants will provide at their own expense. All costumes or attire are subject to review and approval by the faire. All individuals are expected to wear clothing that is acceptable to our theme and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to our mission. Artisan/Crafters must adhere to the standards of middle class or lower stations. The faire asks Artisan/Crafters not to participate in NOBLE costuming or character when such dress and actions are inappropriate as a Artisan/Crafter. Artisan/Crafters in doubt should contact the staff for approval. Standards of Noble Class Elizabethan dress are defined in Elizabethan Costuming 1550-1580 by Janet Winter. Peasant and Middle Class costuming does not have to be strictly Elizabethan or European to be acceptable, But should be theme appropriate. Shoes preferred to be leather sandals, black or brown leather boots, cloth or leather Mary Janes etc. Everyone involved in the faire must be in costume depicting our theme period. Costume assistance & rental information are available through Your Event Name Here Artist/Crafters, just ask. This is mandatory for your and your personnel!!! </p>

<p> Battles and jousts notwithstanding, clothing should be neat, clean well-maintained and in keeping with the character of your persona. It should also assist you in reproducing, as much as possible, the look and feel of your character. Also, even though our realm abounds in some magical incidents, pains should be taken to avoid 20th century phenomenon such as athletic shoes, caps or any other clothing with brand names visible so that we may more easily create the feel of a “medieval faire”. But remember that peasants and others may be more scraggly than noted hereIf no costuming is worn, the booth is subject to expulsion. If you have any question about costume or dress, please ask as soon as possible. </p>

<p> Remember that every participant in the faire represents the faire to the public and to any media. Please conduct yourself in an appropriate business manner at all times. Every visitor to our Your Event Name Here is considered to be “noble born” by all volunteers, staff and personnel. Grovel before our visitors if you will, but remember that the purpose of Your Event Name Here is to bring laughter, joy and light-hearted entertainment to ALL of our visitors and to any who seek to join Your Event Name Here. Do nothing contrary to this notion while taking part in any Your Event Name Here activity or representing yourself as a participant of Your Event Name Here. A reminder: that overtly sexual behavior must be kept well in acceptable limits as determined by the sensibilities of any watching guests. If in doubt, keep it tame. Also all primary and secondary sexual characteristics are to be kept covered unless approved in advance by the staff. Please bring any problems directly to faire organizer so that a solution can be found.</p>

<p> This is a summary of the weapons selling style preferred by the Faire Staff:</p>
<p>1. That Artist/Crafters will not sell a weapon to anyone under 18 years of age. The Artisan/Crafter is responsible to enforce this policy. This includes, but is not limited to: patrons. volunteers and other Artisan/Crafters.</p>
<p>2. That Artist/Crafters will not sell a major weapon to anyone under the age of 21, a major weapon being an item with a blade longerger than 21” in size, a hafted {24”+ haft} weapon or a projectile style weapon.</p>
<p>3. The only exception to these rules is if one has a Teacher, Instructor, or Master of Arts that comes to Your Event Name Here Artist/Crafter and states the person needs the weapon as part of their training. Then the weapon will be purchased by the teacher for their student.</p>
<p>4. The Artist/Crafter will always have the right to refuse to sell any weapon to anyone they don’t feel right about.</p>
<p>5. Weapons are to be peace-tied at the time of sale. The Faire staff will provide the correct ties to use the first day then it is up to the Artist/Crafter to so.</p>

<p>Thus preventing any trouble from happening via any sales. That is to say that the Artist/Crafter is not responsible for any one’s actions after they have purchased any item from a Artist/Crafter. Whatever they do with it we cannot control nor govern once it leaves our control. For it is not the item’s fault nor ours, only the person’s and/or persons’ that is using it should something happen:</p>
<p> It is the responsibility of the buyer, NOT THE SELLER, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession and use of any item on this site. All equipment is sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. Consult your local and state laws before buying if you are in doubt. Absolutely no sales to minors! By placing an “order”, the buyer represents that the products purchased will be used in a lawful manner, and that he/she is of legal age. {BOOTH/TENT______} will not be held liable for the misuse of any product in this tent. <p> At the Faire when a weapon sold is a matter of safety a ticket pickup system will be used. When a weapon is purchased the Artist/Crafter gives the person a ticket to pick up the weapon upon leaving the Faire, from the main gate officials. Thus preventing any trouble from happening through weapons sales. For what they do with it no one can not control nor govern once it leaves the Artist/Crafter’s control. It is not the item’s fault nor the Artist/Crafter’s, only the person’s that is using it. And no one will be allowed to wear or carry any type of manual weapon. Guest or other wise, unless it is use in a staged act.</p>

<p> Only Artisan/Crafters who apply for and receive permission to sell weapons are allowed to sell weapons. Should you be approved to sell weapons a permit will be issued to you by Your Event Name Here management in your welcome packet. You must display this permit at all times. Should you be selling weapons to minors your booth will be shut down immediately. A copy of the local and Commonwealth laws will be sent to those who are approved to sell weapons. To be posted your booth as well.</p>

<p> Artist/Crafter and Artisan/Crafters are encouraged, pending on required, to bring and use period style pavilions to display their wares and assist the Your Event Name Here staff in providing a specific look to their faire and theme. As well as having a sign or banner with medieval symbolizing for shop or lettering or with a rustic appearance. If you do not own a period tent/pavilion we will allow a two year grace to acquire one. And can provide a listing of those who make tents that fit our requirements. Upon the third year of participating in this faire if a period-style pavilion is not acquired, we reserve the right to not allow you back into the Faire. At this point in time modern pavilions can be used, by first time Artist/Crafters. However poles must be roped and staked and due to their tendency to take flight, weights do not meet this requirement. All modern pavilions must be disguised as well as is possible. Please specify how many sides your booth opens on so they can place your booth in a location suitable for it. Help may be available for ideas in decoration/design of your booth so as to keep in the faire’s theme. Let Your Event Name Here Staff know in advance if your are in need. All Artisan/Crafter decorations must be in keeping with the theme of Your Event Name Here. Banners, flags, pennants, dagging, gaily colored ribbon, and other fanciful items should be used to camouflage the 20th century portions of your area. If you have any questions about what is appropriate they should be asked before the event. All non-period equipment on your person or in your tent must be out of sight of the patrons. Large cloths are handy for covering modern items. All pagers & cell phones must be in a silent mode during operational hours of the faire so that they will not distract from the atmosphere of the faire. Your Event Name Here will have the final decision on any object or display media. The choice of leaving your tent contents out overnight is yours. Your Event Name Here is not responsible for lost or damaged items and lack of sales that may incur for any reason including, but not limited to inclement weather, patron traffic, location of site or sales area. <p> All booths are to have business cards with the name of shop and owner’s information with at least three points of contact upon them; area code & best phone number, USPS mailing address, and an internet address are suggested contacts. They are to be accessible for any one to pick up. If there are any customer complaints about not receiving goods paid for in a timely manner. And are unable to contact the person from which that item was ordered. Your Event Name Here reserves the right to review and no longer allow in that shop/owner into Your Event Name Here. Poor Treatment of your customers reflects on Your Event Name Here and will not be tolerated. Complaints concerning products and/or misrepresentation of products will result in removal of that product and review of and possible cancellation of your Artisan/Crafter application. If in violation of this during Faire then the Fair Staff can and will shut down and close the booth/tent, and will allow it to be removed after hours of the show. No refunds will be granted and the vender will not be allowed to participate in this Faire for a period of three years, and then only under a probation contract.</p>

<p> Banners/flags and signs in the parade. Artist/Crafters are suggested to participate in the noon {common} parade. Your banner or flag promotes your booth and enhances the parade. Pages will be available to carry it if you are not able or have not arranged something else, for a small token of appreciation. Just ask and one will be made available to you.</p>
<p> If any Artisan/Crafter booth or tent accepts personal checks that are invalid the name on the check & any others that may be listed as a joint account will be added to a listing on bad checks for traveling Artisan/Crafters. The bad check listing will consist of person(s) name, points of contact , check number, date the bad check was receive & if the bad check has been resolved or not. It is Your Event Name Here policy to give a copy of the list to any participating Artisan/Crafter. Any Artisan/Crafter can obtain the listing by asking in writing for a copy. The only way to be removed from the listing is to have ten (10) other traveling Artisan/Crafters accept their check & have no problems with cashing it. Then they must send Your Event Name Here a copy of the cashed checks along with the business cards of the ten (10) traveling Artisan/Crafters. To be taken off of the list. They can also be removed by proving that it was not directly their fault.</p>

<p> No beverages, alcoholic or otherwise, may be sold except with written permission of the Your Event Name Here Staff. Food Services are dealt with on a single booth to faire status. Food Service permits, taxes, insurance, and 14% of gross paid Monday afternoon after the weekend. And depending on some of the reasons of food booths they may be dealt with a case by case. This permission must be prominently displayed during Your Event Name Here.</p>

<p> Participants should accommodate all rules of the faire and the grounds the faire is on. We also do not allow private alcoholic beverages not to be consumed during open hours of the event by anyone to ensure a professional atmosphere during the public hours of the event. Possession of firearms and/or narcotics is reason for dismissal and could warrant applicable police involvement. All participants are required to carry faire identification on their person while on the faire site.</p>

<p> No fencing will be opened or the fence line broken without the express permission of the faire management! Permission will NOT be given after the fence line is set, unless an emergency.</p>

<p> Animals other than those pre-approved as part of entertainment acts/rides and personal assistant/guide animals are not allowed in the merchant faire site during open hours. You may contact the Artisan/Crafter Director for a list of boarding facilities near the site if you need to board a pet. If an animal is allowed on site there will be no attacks, excessive noise or the nuisance of any excrement on the public areas of Your Event Name Here or camping areas. Only the registered owner of the tent/booth will be allowed to bring animals onto the faire with the understanding that any report contrary to the rules will result in animal control being called. Prior notification that you want to bring an animal is required. The notification MUST be accompanied with written proof of current shots (i.e. Rabies, distemper, parvovirus…) No animals are allowed in front of the of the line of booths/tents or in public traffic areas during show hours. ALL ANIMALS ARE REQUIRED TO BE LEASHED OR CONTROLED AT ALL TIMES. It is your responsibility as a pet owner to clean up your animal’s excrement, place it in a sealed container and place it in the trash can or dumpster.</p>

<p> Artisan/Crafters will be allowed to camp with their booths. An area for separate modern tent Artisan/Crafter camping as well will be allocated. There are no hook-up facilities for electricity or water at any of our sites for camping. Thought there is common water sources on site. Camping provided onsite and parking for RVs or campers wherever possible. Separate policies will be published for camping and will be in your packet when arrive. Those persons camping on site are expected to be courteous to the people around them, and good neighbors in the surrounding community at all times. All children {age 0 to 14} must have adult supervision at all times. Children within this age are forbidden to roam unattended. This means they are within line of sight {not sound of voice} of their parents at all times. Teenagers from 14-18 years of age must conduct themselves as socially correctness dictates or will also fall within the above guide lines. Parents remember you are responsible for them and will be held accountable for their actions. Having a bad attitude or indulging in a ego trip {unless the ego trip involves some distant destination} will result in strict and non negotiable results. There is no substitution for adequate supervision. This is to be a non politic, drama, or high school game faire.</p>

<p> Participants are responsible for cleaning up and the orderly maintenance of their own space, including keeping said space free from any conditions which might be dangerous to persons coming upon the site. Artisan/Crafters should bring plastic bags to the site to be used for disposal of garbage and trash. Do not throw cigarettes on the ground. Use a butt can for them. Smoking is strongly discouraged in general for the theme we are trying to show and not allowed in front of the patrons in any event. All participants are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of their refuse in designated waste receptacles. Do not leave food or garbage out at night. Professional wild animals reside here and know their jobs well. All Artisan/Crafters’ areas must be policed and left clean when leaving to be eligible for refund of the security deposit. Please do not leave any trash or other items behind.</p>

<p> While the Your Event Name Here Staff recognizes that bathing was not a popular pastime in the past times, it is requested that while in the realm, those who would be visiting of whatever ilk avail themselves of frequent and liberal applications of soap, water and some form of preventative {deodorant}, if required, to lessen the possibility that we might offend the more delicate sensitivities of our special guests and those with whom we must work. Showers can be found _________ .</p>

<p> Hair of whatever variety should be clean and neatly trimmed or styled. Special dispensations may be given in case of trolls and other such creatures, peasants and those to whom such would be appropriate. But the remainder of Your Event Name Here Staff & Artist/Crafters should attend to keeping ourselves presentable.</p>

<p> Artisan/Crafters it is your responsibility to make sure that each of your employees have read and understand the policies of this event. If an employee breaks the rules, ignorance is not an excuse and owners/mangers will be held accountable for the actions of their employees. Children should have a basic understanding of the policies and be under parent supervision at all times. Both children & Individuals staffing the booths are expected to wear clothing that is acceptable to our theme and conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for our mission. It helps to show up in the morning already in costume.</p>

As always when on site you can check the message board located in the security or first aid tent/booth. The message board will have important announcements, weather reports & of course messages. You can shoot the sheriff {with marshmallow shooting crossbows}, just don’t shoot the messenger.</p>

<p>If you or someone you know has a problem with the way something is being handled or how something was handled, please have the intelligence, common sense and decency to discuss or have them discuss the matter with Your Event Name Here Staff. Talking with the rest of the world about the issue won’t help any 99.9% of the time. It’s hard to work on a problem if we don’t know about it. This would also help to prevent the issue from being blown out of proportion and help to stop the spreading of rumors. Just remember these simple three steps. 1)Come to Your Event Name Here Staff so we all can know what the problem is. 2) Sit down with Your Event Name Here Staff so we all can come up with an answer or at least a plan of attack. 3) Carry out the answer/plan to take care of the problem.
