Large heavy leather belt pouch

Large heavy leather pouch, something to hold all your event needs and a little extra. Available in standard brown and black with an antler button and thong closure with a single belt strap on back.
Medium, heavy leather belt pouch

Heavy leather pouch with 2 strap suspension, adequate for most ordinary event situations (think tri-fold wallet, car keys, cell phone and spare change). Available in brown and black. Pouch is closed with a hook and eye clasp for extra security.
Compas Rose Cut-Out belt Pouch

Heavy leather, single strap, compas rose cut-out pouch. This pouch is made by hand, and has a hook and eye clasp for extra security. Hold your booty in style, without spending much of it.
Longship Cut-Out belt Pouch

Love the Gokstad ship, but can't find a reliable viking ship wright, wear this brass backed cut-out pouch instead. This medium sized, heavy leather, single strap pouch has a hook and eye clasp for extra security. Fit for Jarl, but priced for a Carl. Also available backed in colored sueade.
ROB ROY Style Belt Pouch

I call these pouches Rob Roy style, because they were inspired by the kilt-wearing actors in the movie Rob Roy. These pouches aren't true sporans, but do have a suede draw-style bag complete with a heavy weight flap and belt strap. The photo shows 3 of our most popular colors: red, green, and purple. All colors of suede may not be available at the time of order, but please ask about your choice of color. I may have it in stock. As with my other pouches, the heavy leather portions of the pouch are available in natural browns and blacks. A great expanding pouch, this bag will hold a large amount, and has a secure closure. The bag portion is tied, and the top flap has a button pull, hiding the draw-string.

Heavy leather two strap pouch with contrasting suede backed cut-out triskels, holds all your event needs with style to spare, also available brass or nickle silver backed.
Russet Colored, Carnelian Encrusted, Great Belt Pouch

You've heard of Great Swords, extra large, two-handed,fighting weapons; Well, this is a Great Pouch. This pouch will hold: checkbook, tri-fold wallet, coin purse, car keys, cell phone, inhaler, visegrips, and an emegency diaper. Truly a pouch of holding. This pouch has a hook and eye clasp for extra security, and a stylish carnelian rosette. Who says preparedness can't be beautiful? (this pouch is more one of a kind than most the plaque is not of our manufacture and we can not reliably duplicate the rosette, but please ask, we may have one in stock.)
Everlasting Maple Leaf Belt Pouch

This extra large, single strap belt pouch, has a hook and eye clasp for greater security. If you love fall foliage, this everlasting maple leaf design is for you. Who says extra large can't be stylish?
Suade drawstring belt pouch

When I was growing up, I had several of these wonderful bags to keep my marbles in. Just as functional today, for all of your tiny treasures. My husband carries spare change, credit cards, drivers liscense, car keys, and a cell phone in his. Keep your mundane items hidden and close at hand. Doubles as a can cozy when empty, and is $7.00 well spent. As with all of my leather products, all colors may not be available, but I will do my best to provide a color you will enjoy.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
