Honeysuckle spells

When it gets tough to stay on track for your goals (and you know that accomplishing these goals are in your highest good), light a green or brown candle, sprinkled with black or red pepper, and use the Chariot and Strength tarot images. With the Chariot card, see yourself having discernment, authority, and mastery over your tasks and yourself. See the Chariot, which is actually you, reaching your goals. With the Strength card, allow the Spirit to cut away any negativity and replenish you with the strength you need to accomplish everything you wish. Know this will happen, and feel good about yourself when the goals are completed!

Good Luck Herb Jar

To attract good fortune into your life or to change a streak of bad luck to good, fill a jar with any combination of the following magickal herbs:

Buckthorn Bark
Huckleberry Leaves
Irish Moss
Job's Tears
High John the Conqueror
Lucky Hand root
Mojo Wish Bean
Nutmeg Peony Root
Queen of the Meadow
Rose Hips
Sacred Bark
Star Anise
Tonka Bean

Seal the jar tightly and keep it in your kitchen on a shelf or on a windowsill.

Place your hands upon the jar each morning after you wake up and say:

To God and Goddess do I pray
Guide me through another day
Let good fortune com my way
Good luck hither, now I say.

After citing the magickal incantation, gentle shake the jar a few times and then kiss it before putting it back.

(No specific quantities given)

This oil is intended to bend another to the will of the magickal practitioner, this oil is well suited for anointing candles or fith faths (voodoo dolls)

(No specific quantities given)

Makes other people do your bidding. Use to break any hexes; used to order evil spirits to return to their sender. Said to be extremely potent.

from "The Magickal Formulary" by Herman Slater

Interesting how the Gwydion O'Hara recipe exactly mimicsthe Herman Slater recipe.

Slater's formulary, although not without its own flaws, has been used as a source-book by many people working in the Neo-pagan tradition.

Exact quantities for making this formula are available in "The Magickal Formulary" by Herman Slater for sale at:

I wish to take exception to the above recipe as given byboth Slater and O'Hara. I also find Herman Slater's explanation of its use in regard to breaking hexes and affecting evil spirits to be typical of his "fingerpainting" and fakery in matters of hoodoo.

First, for more information on one way Bend-Over is used inactual hoodoo practice, see my web page on Spells of Female Domination at: http://www.luckymojo.com/femaledomination.html

That will give you some idea of its value in love and sexmagic; but there is more to the formula than this.

For examples of how it is used to rule and control a boss, see my web page on Essence of Bend-Over at:

Honeysuckle is primarily used as a fragrance, and, being floral, it is a frequent ingredient in love potions. The plant itself is a vine that has no strong magical connotations that I know, and what's stranger, real essential oil of honeysuckle is unstable, so most makers use the artificial, synthetic aroma. Looking at honeysuckle from the perspective of the "doctrine of signatures," one could say that it grows upon trees and somehow dominates them, but it certainly does not make them bend to its will -- and other vines of similar twining habit, such as periwinkle, are always used in love-and-marriage formulas, because of their clinging natures. In short, honeysuckle might be good for love-domination (as an ingredient in Follow me Boy Oil,or instance, but it would hardly be expected to work on your boss!

Today's spell is designed to protect you on a journey, whether it is by road, air, or sea. This could be travel related to your work or simply for your personal enjoyment. Find an item that represents your mode of transportation. For example, if you are flying, your symbol could be an airline ticket or a small model airplane. On your altar, light a white candle to represent safety and protection. Close your eyes and focus on the image representing your trip. Hold this image as you visualize a circle of white light around you and the transport vehicle. In your mind’s eye, imagine yourself reaching your destination safely. Continue to hold the image in your mind, and then imagine return-ing home again safely.

Abundance Spell

On a new moon (this is important): Take a check from your checkbook. Do not write anything on the "date" to the line. On the "pay to the line, write your full name. In the area where you write the amount in figures, write "PAID IN FULL", and do the same on the line that you write the amount in words. Sign the check "RIGHT TO ABUNDANCE", and put it somewhere special. Make a small shrine around it with fresh honeysuckle, aventurine stones, and rub a little oil of patchouli it. You will probably get what comes to you. Because you do not ask for an amount, you ask just what you are right.

Psychic Sight Spell

A spell to open the third eye (psychic sight) goes as follows. Fill a small purple bag (or a piece of cloth that you can wrap herbs in and tie up) with as many of the following herbs as you can:

Gather the edges of the cloth and tie a string around it if you are using a cloth, or if you used a small purple bag, tie it shut. (Drawstring bags work best.)

Using a dark violet marker, draw an eye on the front of the bag. Rub the bag on the third eye chakra (forehead) whenever performing divination or needing psychic sight, and sleep with it under your pillow every night.

Honeysuckle: Wear to increase psychic abilities and clairvoyance; in candle magick, use to increase money and prosperity. Anoint on the temples before a test to help you pass.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries had its humble beginnings as an idea of a few artisans and craftsmen who enjoy performing with live steel fighting. As well as a patchwork quilt tent canvas. Most had prior military experience hence the name.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries.

Vendertainers that brought many things to a show and are know for helping out where ever they can.

As well as being a place where the older hand made items could be found made by them and enjoyed by all.

We expanded over the years to become well known at what we do. Now we represent over 100 artisans and craftsman that are well known in their venues and some just starting out. Some of their works have been premiered in TV, stage and movies on a regular basis.

Specializing in Medieval, Goth , Stage Film, BDFSM and Practitioner.

Patchwork Merchant Mercenaries a Dept of, Ask For IT was started by artists and former military veterans, and sword fighters, representing over 100 artisans, one who made his living traveling from fair to festival vending medieval wares. The majority of his customers are re-enactors, SCAdians and the like, looking to build their kit with period clothing, feast gear, adornments, etc.

Likewise, it is typical for these history-lovers to peruse the tent (aka mobile store front) and, upon finding something that pleases the eye, ask "Is this period?"

A deceitful query!! This is not a yes or no question. One must have a damn good understanding of European history (at least) from the fall of Rome to the mid-1600's to properly answer. Taking into account, also, the culture in which the querent is dressed is vitally important. You see, though it may be well within medieval period, it would be strange to see a Viking wearing a Caftan...or is it?

After a festival's time of answering weighty questions such as these, I'd sleep like a log! Only a mad man could possibly remember the place and time for each piece of kitchen ware, weaponry, cloth, and chain within a span of 1,000 years!! Surely there must be an easier way, a place where he could post all this knowledge...

Traveling Within The World is meant to be such a place. A place for all of these artists to keep in touch and directly interact with their fellow geeks and re-enactment hobbyists, their clientele.
