Dragon magick is a serious topic and is not to be meddled with, hence the fact that there are many dangers in this kind of magick due to the immense power it has. It is for the Magician who is serious about working with dragons on a magickal, spiritual, and friend-wise basis.

When a Magician dances with Dragons,as the practice of Dragon Magick is called,he/she discovers an intensity of power never before tapped. When tapped into this intensity is exhiliarating and a Spiritual high. When you are befriended by Dragons as co-magicians they can empower your rituals no matter what tradition you practice far beyond what you have normally encountered. Their grasp of ancient knowledge is deep and profound. Their ability to see through layers of time both present and past as well as the future is astounding and quite accurate if they choose to reveal what they see to you. As protectors during rituals or everyday life there are no equals.If you are chosen by Dragons under their tutelage you will have the opportunity of constantly learning and evolving your knowledge and magickal ability.

If you take the time to forge a friendship with Dragons they can become the best companions you would ever want. Although this companionship can seem to harsh and demanding it is always in your best interests. A lifelong dance with Dragons is never boring for it is a constant exploration of various types of energies and the uses in which these energies can be applied. Dancing with Dragons can be a joyful,daily experience and one that is eagerly sought after by all participants for the mutual sharing of energies during ritual as well as in life helps out both species in their evolution and spiritual growth. The more that Magicians seek out the companionship of Dragons,work with them, and earn their trust the more Dragons will be encouraged to once again have a closer, positive relationship with humans in general just like they did in olden times.Dragon magick is a high magick where you and a dragon are working together and exchanging energies and power to work magick (co-magick).

In Love and Light,
IsisMoon

"Dragons Lair"
By Ironshod (Anne Stokes)
http://ironshod.deviantart.com/

We should not fall into the trap, so well laid by modern psychotherapy, that seduces us with the idea that every repression can be lifted, every pain healed. It is an over-simplification to see evil as pain turned outwards as hatred. All we apparently need to do is fix the hurt and the evil will go away.... The individual and collective energies, complexes, call them what you will, that can be symbolized as dragons, are extremely powerful and can only be faced at the right time - and not before. And there are some dragons - demons perhaps rather than dragons - which are the result of evil thoughts and deeds and which only the gods can face without harm".

(Note: Negative polarity dragons can come in any color as can positive polarity dragons.

This will make the dream dragon you have always wanted. It will be hopefully on the physical plane. So enjoy the spell. A friend did my spell and he got a dragon. So this spell works 99.9% cause nothing is 100%.

Read the following before you get started.

.Draw what your dragon will look like.

.Color your dragon according to it?s element or just color your dragon then find out its element by its color.

.Draw you next to your dragon. The dragon will be that much taller/ smaller than you.

.Right down your height next to you.

.Color yourself (optional)

.Make lines to the top of your body according to your height. (example: five feet. Draw five equal lines.)

.Now continue to make your dragon?s height. The top of the dragon?s shoulders are its height. Not the head.

.Underline the heights of you and your dragon.

.Fold paper hamburger style. So you can?t see your drawing. Fold it only once

.Now write its info with a pencil on either side. (Name, Scale color, wings, tail, Accessories, strength, behavior, abilities, element, dragon breed, eyes, what it eats, etc.)

.Fold paper hamburger style again so you can't see the words.

.Now write this and say it as you write it allowed: (its element) dragon of mine, come to me, by egg of (its element again). I summon the newborn mythical creature. So mote it be. ("So mote it be" should be written as big as you can.)

.Now fold it hamburger style so you can't see the words.

.Make a pentagram on one side.

.Fold it once more.

.Now every night for three nights, before you sleep, chant: God/ Goddesses, grant my dream dragon in the real world from egg to end. Then, chant: (its element) dragon of mine, come to me, by egg of (its element again). I summon the newborn mythical creature. So mote it be. ("So mote it be" should be written as big as you can.)

.Kiss the paper after you chanted and put it under your pillow.

.As you fall asleep, dream of you and your dragon coming together.

If you stop in the middle, just simply read what you have. You need actual belief in dragons or else you will not get an egg.

type of eggs:
Water= sitting in the pool (if you have one)/blue egg
Earth=rock egg
Fire= flaming egg/ red egg
Air/Wind= maybe invisible and strong wind comes/ white egg
Snow= comes in winter time/white-blue coloring
Metal= metal egg
Silver= silver egg
Copper= copper egg
Nature= colorful (I'm not sure)
Shadow/dark= black egg
Ghost= phasing egg
Lightning= sparks of lightning strike
There are more egg types but I don't have them in mind now. So, if you have any other sort of element, please message me.

I'm currently using this spell. Also, it's best to make your dragon's main abilities to be able to phase through your dragon (if not wanted to be touched), invisibility (if not want to be seen but still be able to become un-invisible), and telepathy. Also, don't make your dragon invincible. The spell won't work if you do that (I think). This spell is meant to be good and not bad. Once you find the dragon egg, keep an eye on it. Hopefully, your egg will hatch within a week or so. Now I involved some things that I thought will work cause they seem to be in a lot of places on the site. Your dragon egg can be anywhere on this planet but it will find you once it hatches. I will make an instruction on what to do once you get an egg. You are only allowed to get one dragon. I'll also tell you what your dragon is if it has more than one element. Like mine, hopefully, will be a Silverwind breed. That's Silver and Wind dragon. But that one failed and I started a new one with a Blue dragon. The Blue dragon is a fire and ice dragon. She exactly like Saphira from the movie Eragon. That one did not fail and awaiting for her to hatch. I will be naming your breed. If you have anymore questions, message me. I have given my friend credit to helping me modify this spell.

Side effects (not horrible at all so far):
.Dreaming: you can get dreams of your dragon. (happens as you chant the three nights.)
.Sensing
.Listening: you can have a conversation to something that talks to you. (even when no one is around)(This will take effect about three weeks after chanting the three days.)
.Feeling (this should happen when you have already chanted once. The next day, the main element of your dragon will show if you were successful.)
-earth: ground feels like it's shaking
-fire: outside heats up
-air: wind speed picks up.
-water: rain falls (I think)
Following: you follow a ghost like dragon somewhere. (This should take effect after about 1 to 2 months after you finished chanting the three days.)
Note: Side effects may vary depending on when your dragon hatches. I will ask someone when your dragon will hatch after you have chanted the three nights. You just need to give me the name of your dragon and what it's two elements are, then I will ask this guy who can communicate with his dragon.

Every practitioner of magick is aware of the basic tools required for Ritual or Spell work within their Tradition. All these tools are basically the same. The difference is mostly in the Style of the Tool. When working within a Traditional Wiccan Path, one might expect the practitioner to have & use mostly Goddess orientated tools, that is, tools decorated & adorned with Goddess symbols, or corresponding colors, objects, etc.

The Tools for use within the Draconian or Dragon Tradition of Wicca are no different. They are simply Sacred Tools that reflect the Dragon, instead of the Goddess. This is the same in most Traditions. For instance, if you are more God orientated, your Ritual Tools would reflect this, such as having stag skulls or horns, things that Honor & reflect the symbols for Cernunnos...

When a practitioner first chooses a Path or Tradition to follow, The ritual tools they have & use may not all reflect this path, and that is okay. Everyone starts somewhere. If your budget does not allow you to run out and purchase all new tools, use the ones you have. Slowly, over time, your collection of Sacred Tools will grow to reflect the Tradition or Path that you follow. Regardless of the symbols upon your tools, ALL tools used for a Draconic Ritual should first be Cleansed, Consecrated and Blessed by the Dragons.

Types of Tools used within the Draconian Tradition

SWORD:One thing that draws those who practice Dragon Magick together is their common Love of Dragons. Most practitioners who choose a Dragon Wicca Path thrive on tales of Dragons... A sword is often disregarded in many Traditions of Wicca, in Draconian Wicca however...As you might expect;The Prime Ritual Tool for Dragon Magick is a Sword. A Sword is a symbol of the Power of the practitioner of Dragon Magick. It is the symbol that the Dragons recognize as related to the practitioner, and it is the symbol that the Dragons Expect the practitioner to posses. Dragons are practitioners of magick themselves, and just like us they use correspondences in their Ritual magick. Swords can easily be the most expensive tool to purchase. Even a sword that is not elaborate or heavily decorated with ornamentation can be expensive, for this reason I suggest you choose your sword wisely, you may well use it for years. A short sword is the best choice, I think, because you will need to be able to maneuver it within the circle. 18 to 20 inches in length is the ideal size. After a few minutes of actually holding the sword out in front of you, you will come to understand why a short sword is best, believe me. It is a cumbersome tool, and notoriously clumsy within a circle.

Ceremonial Knives:Athame / Boline

Athame:It is used primarily to cut and direct energy links and sometimes to delineate sacred space. Gate portals are cut with the Athame, and it is the Witch's primary weapon when in liminal space.An Athame is a double edged dagger.It is common for an Athame to have a sharp tip and dull sides, I think this is to prevent injuries. I prefer my blades all to be carefully sharpened and honed to perfection, but that's just me. To me, a dull blade is the sign of sloven practices. A sharp blade shows Respect & Honor to the God. An Athame is used to sever things within the Spiritual Realms ONLY> it is not meant to be used to cut, carve or otherwise use within the physical realm, but for the directing of energy and manipulation of power within the ethereal realm. That being said, I know that it is a common practice to use one's athame to carve ruins or words onto candles, etc. I believe that using your athame for such mundane practices will damage its use within the ethereal realm. The Athame corresponds to the Element Fire.The Energy of the Athame is Masculine and corresponds with the God.An Athame usually has a Black handle, this is so that the practitioner can readily tell the difference between knives during Ritual. If your knives are decorative and easily told apart it is not necessary for it to have a black handle.

Boline:The Boline's handle is White. This is the physical tool used in basic altar needs and in preparing for any ritual work that you might do, such as in carving candles, trimming wicks, and cutting cords. It is for cutting things in the physical realm. In Kitchen Witchery it has become the practice to combine the knives into one all-purpose knife (and still call it an Athame) I disagree completely with this. Keeping your knives separate, using them for their intended purposes and treating them as the Sacred Tools that they are, will enhance the tools ability to store & manipulate energy. The Boline is the Physical Realm Knife, It draws upon the practitioners energies. The more you use this knife, the more it will become a part of you. I use my knife for everything. The Traditional Boline is shaped like a Sickle, it is shaped in such a way as to make it practical for harvesting herbs. While I like the idea of a sickle shaped knife... it just isn't practical for everyday use. My Boline is my pocket knife. Unfolded it is about the size of my Athame, about the length of a large hand, fingers opened. It is consecrated and I cleanse & charge it regularly. I've had it for years, and it holds much of my energy.

Shelg:The Shelg is not a Traditional Wiccan tool. The Shelg is an American Folkloric Traditional blood sacrifice knife. It is the tool of the third realm and relates to the Red God of the Forge, Tubal Qayin. The Shelg is used for blood magick and sacrifice. It may be used to open a small wound in the flesh in order to produce blood for oath-taking or binding links. Although sterile lancets are often used in place of the Shelg for safe bloodletting in small amounts, the Shelg is still symbolically passed over the wound to seal the link.
Draconian Wicca... by Donna Morgantag:travelingwithintheworld.ning.com,2014-01-12:2185477:Topic:1940832014-01-12T22:21:32.211ZDept of PMM Artists & thingshttp://travelingwithintheworld.ning.com/profile/Artistsandthings

It has a code of honor just like a more Traditional Wicca Path, that is perhaps a little more strict than the Wiccan Rede however. Draconian Magick has always been passed down from teacher to student, perhaps that is one reason there is so little information available.

Dragon Magick is not for everyone. Those that choose to practice it must be self-disciplined individuals who are serious about changing things in their lives and the world around them. They must be willing to have beings be brutally honest with them and be willing to turn that same honesty upon yourself. Working with dragons is a hard path, but ultimately rewarding. The journey of rediscovering the true essence of Dragon Magick can be an uncomfortable experience for some people, being forced to examine aspects of their inner-selves that they would rather not acknowledge. But self knowledge and self integration are the true keys to magickal wisdom and power... Opening yourself to acceptance of your true self is a task that few of us have the courage to face, and yet it is an important step to undertake if true power is to be achieved in any magickal Tradition.

For most practitioners of magick, Dragons represent Wisdom and Balance. But for those who are practitioners of Draconian Magick, Dragons are seen as Deities and held in the highest regards. No other Deities are held higher. While Dragons are revered in most Traditions of Paganism or Wicca, they are not thought of in the form of Deities. When holding a Ritual which includes Dragons, or is a Dragon Ritual, it is important to understand that in Draconian beliefs, the Dragon is held in the All-High, or exalted position. Placing another Deity in a position higher than that of the Dragon is an insult to the Dragon...Draconian Magick is unequivocally a school of the Left-Hand Path.

That is to say it is a school which teaches the immortalisation and deification of the individual psyche, as opposed to the Right-Hand Path which seeks to submerge that psyche within a sense of universal oneness...I believe that many Wiccans and Pagans today tend to shy away from anything Dark, there are allot of Wiccans out there who claim to practice only 'white' magick, And, while most Wiccans/Pagans do not use the statement "I walk a Right-Hand Path" They do. But, to me at least, this creates an imbalance. There cannot be Light without Dark. There is a certain degree of Darkness within us all. You cannot be in Balance if you deny one side of your nature. Many Wiccans/Pagans automatically assume a Dark Witch performs magick that is wrong, negative, or even evil. This is simply not true.

The left-hand path is about the elevation and centrality of the self as well as the rejection of religious authority and societal taboos. The left-hand path focuses on the strength and will of the practitioner, downplaying the need for intercession by any high power (although they may believe a higher power exists).

The right-hand path concentrates on the symbols of goodness, of the Light of the Divine, the connection of self with the Divine, and the purification of self in order to reconnect with the Divine. Many right-hand followers believe that there is a Divine power that holds sway over the universe and through prayer and worship that Divinity will help to better their lives. The vast majority of religions are considered part of the right-hand path, from Christianity to Wicca.

So, When I hear people say "I'm a White Witch" or the ever popular "I'm a Green Witch" I just smile and keep moving...I have said it before, and I'll say it again... IF I had to pick a color, I'd have to say I'm a Grey Witch. I believe in Balance. In all things there should be a Balance. In my Spiritual Path I strive for Balance. There is a Darkness in us all. I do not deny the Darkness, I embrace it. Does this make me evil? I don't believe so, because I Balance it with Light... There is a Light within us all as well... I know I'm probably going to get a few people who point to the Wiccan Rede... and espouse they're religion doesn't harm anyone... Well, let me just state that neither does mine. I follow the Rede, always have. The main thing is, I don't rely on ANY religion to dictate my Morals, my sense of Right or Wrong, I Rely on Myself. In this sense, I follow (Some) of the Christians 10 commandments as well... NOT because I worry about some eternal damnation, but simply because it fits within my own moral concept. I do not need any religion to 'guide' my moral compass, or direct my Spiritual path.I do not Pray to the Goddess to alter or enhance my life. I do not repent my sins before any Goddess or God. I know that I have done things in my life that were wrong. I recognize this fact and strive always to change these behaviors. I don't think any Natural inclination (such as SEX) is wrong. I eat Meat. Because I Like it. and really humans are Omnivores...I do not believe in the usual concepts of good or evil... AND... I do not judge myself based on someone else's judgement of me. I am who I am.

Self-responsibility is also seen as of utmost importance when working with Dragons. You must be able to view your actions objectively...and accept the consequences of those actions, whether the outcome is positive or negative.

Dragons are warriors for light (lightworkers). They are a collective of souls who service the light. They can infuse their souls into bodies that are not dragon (human for example). In this way they can work for light and efficiently bring about changes. This is one thing that makes them invaluable in Healing Ceremonies. Some call any magickal practice with Dragons is to “Dance with Dragons”, but they can be more then just a dance partner. As teachers of ancient knowledge their grasp of it is deep and profound. Their ability to help in divination is astonishing and quite accurate. As protectors during rituals and everyday life there are no equals. And if a Dragon chooses to take you under their wings you will have the opportunity of learning knowledge and evolving your magickal ability to a degree which few have known.

During meditative channeling, Dragons usually appear to people as themselves. There are those times when they appear as winged humans, or something else, but for the most part you see them as they appear as they would be in their own realm. Dragons are a part of the Fae Realm. When the Fae drew back from humankind and sealed themselves from our sight, the Dragons became the Gatekeepers to that realm. Guarding forever the passage from our realm to theirs. Which is one reason it is so hard to gain access to the Faerie Realm. Most people who are aware of the Fae Realm already know that the Fae are able to enter our realm at will, humans, however must first gain access past these mighty Guardians.
The Goddess & God:The Dragon is the combined powers of the God and the Goddess. The Dragon is invoked or evoked during Sabbats and in times when great magick is needed.

Red Goddess Dragon: The Goddess is the female half of the 'Divine Being'. She also has had many faces and many names. Wiccans, Druids, and the coven all respect the Maiden, Mother, and Crone aspect of the Goddess shown in the entire universe.The Dragon Goddess always appears as a Red Dragon. The Red Goddess Dragon is effectively the Goddess of the Dragons and very, very few know her actual name. She represents all of the blessed races and has a counterpart for each.

The God Dragon: The God is the male half of the 'Divine Being'. He has many faces and has known many names. To Wiccans, he is known as the Horned God, the Sun God, and many more. The Draconian God is not just Father, he is Mate, Consort, Lover, Friend, Brother, Hunter, Husband, Law-giver, and Partner.

Dragon Guardians and Guides:Dragons are famous for their fierce protective nature. Though most myths portray Dragons as protectors of great treasures, they have been known to be protectors of people too. The Dragon serves as a Powerful Guardian and Guide. Once you discover your Guardian Dragon/Dragon Guide you should encourage communication, and acknowledge your Dragon's presence as often as possible, the same as you would with an Animal Spirit Guide or even a Guardian Angel. You will need to let you Guardian Dragon/Dragon Guide know that you are now open and willing to listen to any guidance, advice or teaching they wish to impart to you.One way to do this is to meditate and concentrate upon your Guardian/Guide. Light candles and incense for them, and leave offerings for them upon your altar. Designing a special altar just for your Guardian/Guide is a good idea, a place where you can concentrate your energies towards the Guardian. Many magick practitioners will surround themselves with imagery of their Guardian/Guide, immersing themselves externally in the energies of the Guardian/Guide. This will help you to draw the Guardian/Guide to you, and will assist you in achieving your connection.

As with any Guardian/Guide, finding your Guardian Dragon/Dragon Guide is not the problem. Most likely they are already around you, and in fact may have attempted contact with you in the past. This happens with many different types of Guardians and Guides, we fail to recognize the messages that they are sending us. If this is the case, contact should be easy to obtain once you have let the Dragon know you are ready & willing to connect with them. One thing you must remember though, is when you do feel a Dragon in your house it does not mean that it's "your"Dragon. Sometimes it can take years for a Dragon to decide to be someone's Guardian/Guide, so just because there is one in your house or one that's been following you for years, unless he/she tells you otherwise, don't jump to conclusions and think that you have a Guardian Dragon or a Dragon Guide, it could be there for reason's of it's own... Sometimes though, a person can live their entire lives with a Guardian Dragon/Dragon Guide and never know it...

(Just a note: I have been combining Guardian Dragon & Dragon Guide, but I don't want to give the impression that they are the same thing. These are two completely different Dragons, who perform completely different tasks, the way that you find them & connect with them, however, is the same.)

To find your Guardian Dragon or Dragon Guide, you must first find you Element...As a general rule, you can go by your astrological sign;Capricorn - EarthAquarius - AirPisces - WaterAries - FireTaurus - EarthGemini - AirCancer - WaterLeo - FireVirgo - EarthLibra - AirScorpio - WaterSagittarius - Fire

The second means of determining which Elementals you have the best connection with is through your first name. Your birth-name is, like your astrological chart, an energy center, reflecting the play of certain energies within your life. The vowels of your first name are the keys to determining with which elemental you are most harmonious.The primary vowel in your first name indicates which group of Elementals you can align with most easily. The primary vowel is the one most strongly pronounced.

Element Vowel Elemental BeingFire I Salamanders Earth U Gnomes

Air E Sylphs

Water O Undines

Ether/Chaos A The Ether/Choas Element will accentuate and intensify the relationship and activity of every Elemental force to which it is applied ~ for good or bad.

Once you know which Element you are aligned with, simply match it with that type of Dragon. For instance; I am a Capricorn; So, according to my astrological chart, I resonate most strongly with the Earth Elemental... and my first name is Mary; So, that's an A; Which makes it Ether/Choas... Which means that I align with the Earth Elemental and all contact will be accentuated and intensified.Okay, so now, knowing my Element, I would look down at the Elemental Dragons and know that my Guardian Dragon/Dragon Guide would be the Earth Dragon... Some people will resonate with more than one Element, and therefor more than one Elemental Dragon as well... Also, if the chart says one thing, and your soul is telling you another, always go with your soul... It knows best, Always.

{Just a note: This formula for determining which Element you align with came from Ted Andrews's book 'Enchantment of the Faerie Realm' ... Also, I have changed it somewhat to include the Element Choas, as he explains Ether, they are the same thing.}

Elemental Dragons:Air DragonsThese great dragons are ruled by the Sairys (pronounced Sair-iss), their Elemental color is pure yellow, light blue, silver, white and gray...Where they inhabit is often warm and moist. Air dragons often have a very peaceful nature and they like to share what they know, in fact they feel that all knowledge is worth having. As their name suggests, they control the winds and can manipulate air with amazing dexterity. They can even remove all air from an area creating a vacuum that is next to impossible to fill. These dragons are often long and slender, some have gauzy wings and their scales often have a feather-like quality and may have actual feathers around their heads, necks, and paws. They govern the Eastern quarter of the Circle and you can apply Eastern associations to these dragons.Positive associations of these dragons are new beginnings, the Spring, breath, optimism, joy, intelligence, mental quickness and renewal.Negative associations of air dragons are frivolity, gossip, fickleness, inattention, stagnation, bragging, and forgetfulness.

The magick that these dragons control is often used to control weather, as one would expect. They are also useful in spells that blow away the old and are excellent in protection rituals as well as magick that works for mental flexibility and openness to new ideas. Teachers and students both will find a wealth of information with these dragons as they can teach us how to better impart our wisdom as well as sharpening our minds so that we can learn better.Other forms of dragons that fall under this category are Lightening Dragons, Storm Dragons, Wind Dragons, and Weather Dragons.

Fire DragonsThe Ruler of these dragons is Fafnir (pronounced faf-near), their Elemental color is pure red, amber, red-orange and all shades of flames. They tend to live in warm and dry areas. These dragons have a fiery disposition but can be very gentle and understanding, it is also true that they can be unpredictable and difficult to work with until they get to know you. Once you gain a fire dragon's loyalty they are unwavering and powerful friends. Their bodies are often thick and heavy with a long snake-like necks and tails. They often have wicked looking horns on their head and their mere presence can make a room warmer. Fire dragons are fierce protectors and are often heralded by their loud roar. They govern the Southern Quarter of the circle and Southern correspondences can be applied to fire dragons.Positive association for fire dragons are summer, the sun, blood, any kind of helpful fire, enthusiasm, activity, change, passion, courage, daring, will power, and leadership.Negative associations for these dragons are hate, jealousy, fear, anger, war, ego, conflicts, and irritability.

The magick of fire dragons is often used for personal purification on any level, for energy or courage, and for the stamina needed to pursue your dreams and finish important projects. You can also use their potent magick to help remove barriers, but once they are set on a course they are very difficult to halt and will go through or over anything or anyone to achieve their goal. If you don't have a good working relationship with these dragons and you employ them they can turn your spell into something destructive that will 'burn' through all obstacles and leave ruin in their place.Other forms of Fire Dragons are Steam Dragons, Heat Dragons, Lava Dragons, and Desert Dragons.

Water DragonsWater dragons are ruled by Naelyon (pronounced nail-yawn), their Elemental color is pure blue, dark blue, blue green, and turquoise.They live in cold and moist areas. Water dragons have a very soothing influence and are drawn by strong emotions but will not contact anyone who lets their emotions constantly run away with them. A room may feel a few degrees cooler when water dragons visit or you may notice an increase in the humidity. These dragons are long and serpentine and rarely have legs or wings. Their scales will have a silvery or shimmery hue to them and they tend to have a feathery fringe around their mouths. Many times they appear looking like Oriental dragons and their eyes may have a glowing quality to them. Water dragons govern the Western quarter of the Circle and Western associations may be applied to these dragons.Positive associations are calm water, compassion, peacefulness, forgiveness, love, intuition, calmness, peace of mind, and fluidity.Negative associations for these dragons are floods, storms, laziness, indifference, instability, lack of emotional control, insecurity, and overwhelming grief.

The magic of these dragons is generally used for dealing with emotions, either calming them or stirring them up. You can also use their energy to help with movement or to help keep things fluid and open. You can call on these great dragons to help open up your psychic centers and lend their aid to your divination skills. Water dragons are also useful for calmness in all situations and on all levels, when you have to deal with anything that will tax your emotions you should ask water dragons to lend their aid.Other types of Water Dragons are Ice Dragons, Mist Dragons, and Rain Dragons.

Earth DragonsThese dragons are ruled by Grael (pronounced grail), their elemental color is pure green, every shade of Brown and Black.Their homes are in cold and dry places. Earth dragons are very quiet beings, they will observe from a distance until they are ready to approach you. Once you have befriended an earth dragon they are very straight forward and will be blunt and honest with you but are very loving and nurturing. They tend to have a ridge of sharp scales down their necks and back, their body scales are often very reminiscent of armor. Of all the dragons, these are the ones that like treasure and in order to build a strong relationship you should keep a jar or dish full of coins. The earth dragon’s bodies tend to be very heavy and most of them have four legs, when they have wings their wingspan is enormous. Earth dragons govern the Northern Quarter of the Circle and Northern associations may be applied to them.Positive associations for earth dragons are respect, endurance, strength, responsibility, stability, prosperity, thoroughness, and having a purpose in life.Negative associations are rigidity, unwillingness to change, stubbornness, and lack of consciousness, vacillation, and weakness.

Earth dragon magick is good form building long lasting foundations, for helping to complete long-range goals, and for invoking stability into your life. You can also call on them for physical and mental endurance as well as the strength to accept responsibility. If you are planning to do a spell for enduring prosperity and success, earth dragons are excellent for this but they expect you to work towards your goals and not demand that they deliver it to you.Other kinds of Earth Dragons are Stone Dragons, Nature Dragons, Mountain Dragons, and Forest Dragons.

Chaos DragonsThese dragons don't have a ruler, their color is pure black, and their homes are in Elemental Chaos. These dragons are always dark colors that blend into blackness, often it will look like they have stars caught in their scales. Their bodies are heavy and huge; in fact they tend to be the largest of all dragons. They have wide, wedge-shaped heads and their long tails often are barbed or spiked. Chaos dragons have huge wings that often blend into the night sky and may be hard to make out; they are masters of camouflage in spite of their large bulk and are rarely seen if they don't wish it.

These dragons are not evil or malicious, they work with us and their magick is often incomprehensible to us and they go beyond our limited view of happenings. Because of this their acts may seem cruel, but they are working for our greater good. These dragons are pure representations of chaos and we are to call on them when we realize that not every problem or situation can be resolved with order and reasoning. When working with these dragons they will go straight to the source of your problem or question and force you to confront it. This can be rather uncomfortable for us as we will need to deal with hidden aspects of ourselves that we may not be ready to face, so be sure that you are prepared to accept the consequences of invoking a chaos dragon. Chaos Dragons do not act as Guardians nor Guides.

Chaos dragon magic is mainly concerned with the re-creation of lives, relationships, and careers. You can employ them to help break through barriers, with changing luck, and in bringing about vast changes. You can work with them to explore past lives and their magick is particularly powerful aids in divination.

Their magick is also used to confine anything that will hinder you in forward growth and movement, if you invoke this aspect of them be prepared to have everything that is holding you back leave you life whether you want it gone or not. This is the type of dragon that we work with when we talk about 'riding the dragon’; eventually during this ritual we will have to confront our worst enemy ~ ourselves...Chaos Dragons can also be heralds warning of catastrophe, to ignore what they have to say may bring about destruction in our lives.

Dragon Color Meanings:Purple Dragon;The Purple Dragon, sometimes referred to as "the ancient one", is the embodiment of the highest level of the dragon collective (the wisdom). The purple dragon is many dragons. Once a Dragon reaches a high enough evolution, they become part of the collective. All these consciousnesses are compiled into one composite that holds all the wisdom and knowledge of the Dragons.The Purple Dragon is the 'Law Giver' Setting the rules for all others to follow. This is the Dragon who often appears to test you. Failing these tests can have bad results. These test are to judge a persons honesty, integrity and loyalty...All of the things that the Dragons look for when answering a summons from us. You do not call upon the purple. They are also intricately linked with what illusion is, how to see through it, and how to create it. There are many illusions on this plane, and the blue dragon can guide one through them. Their insight into the etheric plane is tremendous, they see how it moves and works, because it is one of the primary realms for these dragons to do their mental work.

Red Dragons;(Besides representing the Mother/Female Goddess)Red dragon characteristics are desire, passion, fire, rage. These dragons literally eat darkness, and transmute it to light. Intensity is only matched by the amount of fire these dragons wield. To them energy is food...

White Dragons;White dragons maintain the purity of the collective, the grace connection. They often are guardians. These dragons can also be channeled for healing.

Art and music are brought here by gold dragons. Gold dragons can be channeled for healing. See sacred geometry, and the golden means.

Dragon Deities:Dragon God Gneicht;Gneicht is the ruler of the Night... of doorways (both opening and closing them) As a guide his visit speaks of opportunities, both taken and missed, depending on the type of message he brings you...

This dragon is adept at finding things from the Ancients that have been lost in obscurity (old tomes, amulets, magickal items) His assistance can further the summoners knowledge greatly, but he is easily angered, be sure that the item you seek is worth his time before calling upon him...

Luqueas (luk-wee-ass, long U, long E) Dragon trickster God; take great care when inviting His presence. He is a joker, a wild card. His action are not always in the best interest of the summoner. He is like a politician, he can talk circles around most people & beings, but his words are not always truthful. He can be a strong ally... If you are careful.

Tysteal (tiss'-dell) Dragon shephard Goddess; guardian of the meek; a dragon person's first line of defense.Call upon Tysteal when in need of Protection.

Mordak (moo-ór-dak) Dragon God of war, vengeance and retributions of all kinds; make dead certain that you are within your magickal rights before calling Him down, as he is not amused by a fallacious summons.

Davliteau (dav-lí-too) Dragon God of conjured entities; very helpful in ridding one's self of "sent" conjurations and the like; benevolent to the core; very helpful and willing attendant being, though He has little power in other areas. He acts as a protector from other Beings or Dragons who are sent to harass or harm you. He can be called upon when you are having trouble controlling one of the lesser Beings.

Ouida (o-weed'-a, long O, soft a) Dragon Goddess of guidance. Call upon Ouida when you are uncertain of your Path, if you are unsure of which life-choice to make. She can help with decisions about finances, marriage, carrier choices, etc. She is one who stands in the Doorway of Time, Looking both ways at once.

Solange (so-londg') Dragon deity of healing. Though Dragons rarely become involved in human affairs, Solange cares about those who care for others. He will lend a healing touch to any beneficial healing spell, but there is a price for His assistance. He requires the planting of fruit trees (three at the least and 9 at the most) for his services. He will also attend to your herb garden and bless it with His dragon power.

Dragons in the northern sky,Ice and blizzards drawing nigh.Standing still with patience great,To find out the perfect mate.Freezing with and icey stare,A blast of power from their lair.Stars shining from up high,Lettting their power loose to fly,Crushing down the mightiest foes,Delivering the most powerful blows.

Dragons in the eastern sky,Smoke and shadows flying by.Stealth and speed is their way,To fly away from the day.The moon, their power, shining down,Speeding the rain to the ground.Biting with their powerful jaws,And slashing with their mighty claws.They seek the ground and hide in caves,To sleep away the pressence of day.

Dragons in the southern sky,Raging fire they cause to fly.Burning strength is their forte,With all the earth they do play.Tornado's they beat, with powerful wings,Blowing away both paupers and kings.A toothy grin they smile at last,When their prey is in their clasp.They love to run and play games,But are far from being tame.

Dragons in the western sky,Light and fire, flying high.Flying through with speed and strength,Gathering in the morning length.The moon shines bright, but brighter still,Is that yellow firery wheel.It adorns the sky with yellow gold,Which seems to peace and presence hold,And while the dragons fly it pastTheir power grows, and grows fast.

Dragons flying in the sky,Some are raging, some silently lie.Power raging from wind beats and fiery blasts,To icy blizzards and even the stars at last.Some hide from the sun's golden light,And fly only in the darkness of night.Some choose only the icy lands,While others prefer the fiery sands.Dragons flying with their might,Fire, ice, dark, and light.

The war had lasted way to long,Destrucion in the wake of day,The cry of death echoing in song,And noone seeing another way.

No buildings remained, no empire could last,So many people tried to standBut pain was everywhere, and death came fast.They all failed in the end.

From in the midst of the war,Flying high for all to see,Was born that day the lore,Of Naltea` Shuu La`ree.

Into the middle of the battle,A dragon flew, with strength and speed,Golden highlights, and in the saddle,Sat Naltea` Shuu La`ree.

Holding high her staff of power,Shouting loud her battle cry,And her dragon flying over,The whole scene in his eye.

From the clouds that gave cover,An echo of power that none could see,Hundreds of more dragons all flew over,Commanded by Naltea` Shuu La`ree

The army could not withstand them,And the gernerals could not out thinkAs the dragons flew down upon them,And wiped them out in a blink.

Noone could withstand the power,Of Naltea` Shuu La`ree,As she knocked down every tower,And every building that could be seen.

The battle was quickly over,As the dragons showed their might,And flew back into the cover,Blocking out the suns light.

All the dragons she commandedLeft the scene they had made,And the survivors were glad they hadn't landedAs in the cloud their image did fade.

In every battle around the world,In which the war was being fought,Came the same clouded whirl,Bringing the peace that was sought.

When the war was finely finished,And no more dragons could be seen,Peace was finalley pushed,All thanks to Naltea` Shuu La`ree.

Not to many knew the story,So the legend was told aroundBy thoses few who had seen the gloryWho were left there on the ground.

All in shock at what they saw,Knowing noone would believe,Of the power that there was,And in Naltae` Shuu La`ree.

n the darkness of my world I sit atop my mountain, To watch the silvery flow of the wine in my fountain, Even in the darkest night, I still relish with magnificent sight, Perched upon the very tip, Waiting for Greed to take a sip, Throughout the ages and since the beginning of time, I've been the keeper of the forbidden wine, Wine that was made from the blood of my kin, Who died in the battles of the immortal's sin, My kin and myself fought with the brave, Dieing for the children we wanted to save, Our lives we lost as our blood soaked the ground, The bugle of the dead, the only sound, Those who lived collected the dead, Along with the earth that was then blood red, Manufactured by the love for the many, So throughout time there would always be plenty, Greed is a plague that desires my wine, He scales the sides of my precious vines, He desecrates and humiliates the blood of my tribe, An endless act of hatered I fail to describe, So I sit and wait perched upon the brow of my mountain, Tempting Greed to drink from my fountain, And when He comes I shall spread my wings, And the last sounds heard will be his gurgling screams, Only my blood can give you a life refined, My blood has the power to make you divine, But only the chosen may drink from my spring, Only I can choose for I am the queen, Let Greed come and attempt to take, The blood of my kin now that's a mistake, I will show, What so many know, That my biggest thrill, Is for a bloody kill, Blood tastes good with a side of flesh, I love my kills bloody and fresh, I love to hear the sound of my claws, Ripping away the meat from Greed's jaws, There's nothing better then killing Greed, Burying Him deep underneath the rag weed, My fire within calls to me, Begging to kill our old enemy, Begging to vanquish Him for all eternity, I will burn, twist, and turn, Until the enemy does not return, For I am the mountain queen, The dragon of all the unforeseen, Gliding in the wind on the power of my wings, Listening to the birds in the midmorning Spring, Killing the Greed born in all of God's things, I am the Dragon Queen.

Dragons are crafty, wicked and wise,You can tell just by looking into thier eyes,If you see a burning red flame,It can only mean they're betroth in giving pain,If their eyes sparkle and glimmer of the lightest of blue,You best be careful what you do,If your words are truthful and faithful at heart,You have no need to worry,they won't tear you apart,But if your words are unlawful and hate is in your eyes,They will only bring you to your demise.

Dragons of black and charchoal wings, Has a breath of death, they're evil things, At sunset they arouse and then soon take up flight, Flying throughout the darkest of night, Seeing their wounderous bodies soar through the skies, Searching for a kill with their blood red eyes, You better hope the dragon has eaten, He'll fight to the death untill you are beaten, When daylight breaks he'll fly home to his den, But beware for nightfall shall come again.

Dragon LoveLeft in a pool of blood, yet not my own, but it is or was me, In a world were humans hate us, I am yet a dragon left alone, There are more then one but I'm am toren between the dragon and human, For my true love is a human... Calidoria, oh Calidoria, How can a name so beautiful give me such pain and still make my heart sing, In the depths of my being I wish to rip off the wings, claws and fangs, Oh to be human with Calidoria, Yet, I can not be something I am not and so my tears are in vein, I tried so hard to be human that I tryed to rip the dragon from me, but without the dragon there is nothing but a shell of a being left to die in a pool of blood.

On wings of thunderHonor boundSearch me out, I drum the soundTwist and turn in the nightDragon come, my guiding light.Protector, guardian, friend not foeCome to me, see my sigil glow.Strong and true this friendship charmI beckon thee, keep me from harm.Around and about your magick swirlsCome to me, your wings unfurled.
Draconictag:travelingwithintheworld.ning.com,2014-01-11:2185477:Topic:1941332014-01-11T02:22:29.871ZDept of PMM Artists & thingshttp://travelingwithintheworld.ning.com/profile/Artistsandthings

Draconics are people who carry only certain qualities or affinities towards dragons. The word ‘Draconic’ literally means “dragon-like”. Draconity, the state or belief of being draconic, is one of the most individual-based groups, based primarily on the intangible: astral and spiritual levels. This is due to the fact that dragons are creatures of myth and legends, and a physical presence of such a creature has not been factually documented.

Draconics, in general, tend to view themselves as protectors or guardians, in essence, spiritual warriors. Again the chief focus is typically on astral and spiritual levels, resulting in the people finding paths as wandering guides, people who will try to fight off or send away dark beings. Or they live in the belief that they are guardians of a certain place or specific thing. A sword, a jewel, or even things close to their own hearts such as home, family, and friends.

In Relation to the Elements

Draconics use the elements in their magickal workings, and will call upon the dragons ruling these elements for guidance and empowerment. Dragons possess form and force, and can influence our personalities as well as magickal procedures. Each element and its dragon has certain qualities, natures, moods, and magickal purposes; each has positive and negative traits which must be acknowledged and dealt with.

Since Draconics are confined to gaining their knowledge through myth and legend, the elemental qualities are usually based upon two main realms: Chinese Astrology and Paganism.

Chinese Astrology

The characteristics of the Dragon Sign are tempered by one of the five Chinese elements of Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth overlaying a 5-year cycle of characteristics on the original 12-year cycle.

Metal Dragons are truthful but extreme, courageous but unyielding, Metal Dragons have a strength similar to the Dragon fire. Metal Dragons succeed through determination. They are mighty and respect people who stand up to them. In troubled times, these Dragons make great allies, but become ferocious challengers. Metal Dragons can often calm others through their forceful personalities. They seek action, and things are never better than when they are defending a thought or belief about which they have complete faith. Metal Dragons like to lead, and have an affect that makes others want to follow them. Yet even if they attract no support they will fight alone.

Water has a calming effect on the Dragon's fearless temperament. Water allows the Dragon to re-direct its enthusiasm, and makes him more perceptive of others. These Dragons are better equipped to take a step back to re-evaluate a situation because they understand the art of patience and do not desire the spotlight like other Dragons. Therefore, they make smart decisions and are able to see eye-to-eye with other people. However, their actions can go wrong if they do not research or if they do not finish one project before starting another.

Wood has a modifying influence and brings creativity to this sign. Questioning and liberal, Wood Dragons enjoy talking about original ideas and are open to other points of view. They are innovative, imaginative practical and appreciate art in each of its forms. Generally less pretentious than other Dragons, Wood Dragons have an ability to get along with other people. They have the essentials to build a prosperous and happy life for themselves. Still, Wood Dragons are outspoken and at times a bit pushy to quell everyone, even in the most friendly quarrel.

The Fire Dragon is a powerful force to be reckoned with. This is a Dragon doubled! The Fire Dragon can move from calm and collected to combustible in a matter of seconds. In some ways the Fire Dragon is his or her own worst enemy. These Dragons cannot help feeling they are valuable and all-knowing. When they are right their vehemence and vigor is an asset to the cause, and though they value objectivity, they do not always employ the best decision-making measures, and sometimes jump to the wrong conclusion. They also suffer from recklessness and quick tempers. Yet, when they do keep their temper, emotions, and rivaling spirit under control, they emanate a commanding influence on other people.

Earth Dragons make great managers because they are practical, levelheaded and demonstrate a knack for organizing. They still have the need to dictate and be admired, but they are affable, congenial and supportive. Compared to other Dragons, Earth Dragons are less likely to breathe fire at the least irritation. They will work diligently to complete their life goals. The Earth element adds a greater portion of self-control to the Dragon's personality and usually the Earth Dragon is deserving of the respect he or she desires. These Dragons take their life and romantic responsibilities quite seriously.

Paganism

The traditional Pagan colors of the elements are: east=yellow, south=red, west=blue, north=darkgreen. Many give names to these elemental dragons, taken from various myths, but one must remember to do this accurately. For example, the Norse myth of Fafnir is of a dwarf, who, given a cursed ring, turns into a dragon. Therefore, Fafnir is not a true dragon, and worse yet, he is associated with the element of Fire, when, in fact, being an underdweller, he should be associated with the element of Earth.

Air governs the eastern quarter of the circle and of the universe. Its color is pure yellow and is thought to be warm and moist. Positive aspects are: sunrise, spring, incense, wand, bell, clouds, breezes, breath, optimism, joy, intelligence, mental quickness, renewing. Negative associations are: frivolity, gossip fickleness, inattention, bragging, forgetfulnes, windstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like.

Fire rules the south quarter of the circle. Its color is pure red and is warm and dry. Fire is: noon, summer, the dagger and sword, candles, incense burner, the sun, blood, laser surgery, enthusiasm, activity, change, passion, courage, daring, will power & leadership. Negative associations are: hate, jealousy, fear, anger, war, ego, conflicts, lightning, volcanoes.

Water governs the western quarter of the circle. Its color is pure blue; and it is cold and moist. Positive aspects are: sunset, autumn, the water chalice, compassion, peacefulness, forgiveness, love, intuition, calmness, peace of mind. Negative aspects include: floods, rainstorms, whirlpools, laziness, indifference, instability, lack of emotional control, insecurity.

Earth rules the northern quarter of the circle. Its colors are clear and dark green and is cold and dry. Positive aspects are: midnight, winter, the wine chalice, ritual salt, dragon bowl, gem bowl, dragon mirror, gemstones, mountains, caves, soil, respect, endurance, responsibility, stability, prosperity, thoroughness, purpose in life. Negative aspects are: rigidity, unwilingness to change or see another side of a problem, stubbornness, lack of conscience, vacillation, earthquakes and slides.

Akasha (Spiritual Ether, Spirit) is the white, black and metallic dragons that rule the center of the circle and balance all the other elements into a cool, even grey tone of Magick. Through invocation of these dragons of light and darkness, the Magick User is able to mix a blend of elements that will bring forth the desired manifestation and maintain balance.

Magickal Workings

Dragon Names: a dragon will not reveal to you its true name, as this will give you great power over the dragon itself. It will, most likely, give you a name you will be allowed to call it. My black dragon totem is called Epsilon, which is the fifth letter in the Greek alphabet. Since the pantheon I follow is the Greek deities, and the black dragon encompasses the 5 elements, his name seems to fit perfectly.

Evocation is calling a dragon to you, to stand by and support you. You are asking the dragon to join you when you are working and to lend you, not only their presence, but also their power. Evoking is a powerful magick. You must be sure of what you are doing and must remember to be respectful of those you call to you. When you evoke you are asking the dragon to help you with your magick.

Invocation is calling into you, asking the dragon to enter your body and join with your own spirit. To call a being into you is very touchy. The dragon that you beckon is being asked to join into you and work with you as one. That is, you and the dragon are the same creature during your magickal workings. This is not for beginners to attempt. It is very easy to lose yourself in the dragon. The dragons are in no means malevolent, it is just that they are so powerful that it is very enticing to give yourself over to them which is not your intention.

Tool Consecration

If you are going to use magickal tools they must only be used in your magickal workings and should be consecrated first to dedicate them to dragon magick. How you perform this ritual is dependent upon what you feel is right for you; you may cast a circle, you may not.

On your altar, if done inside, or in a circle of stones, if done outside, place the following items, four bowls containing sand: north - a green candle and a stone or crystal of quartz, east - a yellow candle and a feather, south - a red candle and a stick of dragon's blood incense, west - a blue candle and a seashell. These represent the four directions and the four elements. Don’t forget either matches or a lighter to light the incense and candles.

Either cast your magick circle, or just call the elemental dragons and welcome each one.

Take the first item you wish to consecrate and, holding it in front of yourself, say: "Great dragons be with me now. I bring (name of tool) before you to be dedicated into your service." Starting north, pass the item over the candle flame, repeat over east, south and west.

If you are consecrating more than one item put the first to one side and repeat the above until all items have been purified and dedicated. When all items have been done place them all before you and say: "Great and mighty dragons, I thank you for your blessings, guidance and strength."

Close your circle, if you made one, gather up your tools, and let the incense and candles burn out of their own accord; tidy up later on. Remember that these tools should only be used for magickal workings, and if they are used for anything else, they will need to be consecrated again.
