I have 3 others. Celtic, Native American, and Egyptian. Oddly enough, they say nearly the same thing as the East/West ones do. Celtic = Ivy. Native American = Fire Snake. Egyptian = Horace. I used the ones you used here as a "commonality" between us.

Within the world it has been noted that many people get hung up on Star signs of the Western Astrology based upon the Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos (2nd century AD), which in turn was a continuation of Hellenistic and ultimately Babylonian traditions. And then as a second the basic Chinese astrology as well. Which are based on the symbolism of the Chinese zodiac, a system of elements and animals associated with each year according to a sexagenary cycle.

Few look further into the different cultures that also carry these ideas. Many solely base their lives and experiences upon the Western ideas and a few upon the Chinese. Remember these are but a guide not a rule and absolute to be viewed. There are many other factors in life and cultural belief systems. Not just to be stagnated into following or allowing one to be the only guide to follow.

Also many common and every day horoscopes are a general idea which, are considered amusing rather than accurate predictors. Chinese horoscopes often appear in horoscope sections in newspapers and magazine alongside Western horoscopes. And are printed in the comic sections for amusement and entertainment.

To get an accurate accounting one must either have some one schooled in this idea and medium to specifically show a person's or research them fully to understand that each person's will be individual to them not just the mass ideas of public printing.

This is but one interpretation and idea. There are many others waiting to be found.

Scorpio/Dragon here. October 27th, 1964. I married a Cancer/Ox. Will never marry again thanks to That union. I have never met my "other", and have chosen instead to remain alone. I like my solitude. It's the only way I can be my whole self. My son is a Rat, and my heart's purest joy. He's on the Libran side of the Libra/Scorpio cusp so there is a bit of Scorp. in him. He is the only human on Earth who actually understands me. My cat, Blu, seems to understand me as well.
