I was using smooth cast-45D flexible urethane to do some test casts in the ODST molds I acquired from another 405th member.
I totally forgot that smooth-on had the brush able urethane.
as for painting flexible urethane you cannot just spray p...aint it
as it will crack & flake off.I asked smooth-on about this andThe frog was cast into a Smooth-Sil 910 mold, making release agent unnecessary. If a release agent were used, it would need to be thoroughly removed from the piece using an appropriate solvent before a casting could be painted.

Now at The Green Man: Lost Wax Castings ~ Fine Art Bronze & Stainless Steel Decorative Metal Castings

These castings are gravity fed, lost wax investment castings, done with a technology that dates back 4,000 years. The figures are worked up in wax and invested in a ceramic material. The wax is then burned out and the molten metal is poured into the hollow shell or "investment". Once the metal has cooled and the ceramic material removed, then begins the grinding and polishing process.

Robin Grattidge (Robin St Graves) ~ Owner of Acts of Piracy, Medieval Fantasies and Bronze Zeppelin, is a graduate of California State University at Dominguez Hills, where he studied Fine Art & Design. Robin, commonly known in the field as an Itinerant Metal Mongre, exhibits his artisan craft all over the United States. He first began producing bronze and stainless steel decorative metal castings in 1990. Since then he has produced hundreds of images in the medium and has over 500 molds in use at his waxworks studio.

Robin is also a healer, and practices a variety of forms of divination.
